SOHO Bar Phangan — Restaurant in Surat Thani Province

Came here on October 19 and I won’t come back again because the staff are idiots and rude. The girl who served us told us we can pay by card and we did not have any cash on us. She just laughed at her mistake for misunderstanding? Didn’t apologize at all and the bartender / man at the cashier was extremely rude to us and said he knows we can afford the 220 baht fee and to just go and get it out “it’s not expensive for you just go over there and get it”. We ordered an espresso martini and it was so disgusting and watered down that we just went elsewhere for more drinks. This is just a dressed up trashy, cheap, sports bar with disrespectful staff. They don’t deserve any tips. Service was awful, drinks are awful. I can’t stress this enough, don’t go to places like this for cheap drinks. Always go to more upscale places. Wouldn’t come back. Absolutely...

Glorious Sunday roast! 10/10. It was flawless... as you can see in the photo, there was a generous portion of moist, tender, chicken breast. The Yorkshire pudding (it's kind of like a light, fluffy, chewy, savory pastry/bread) was perfectly cooked... which came with a little 'pig in a blanket' (sausage wrapped in bacon) and a stuffing ball which was a lovely touch. I really loved the abundance of crunchy, roast potatoes. The cheese sauce on the cauliflower and broccoli was gourmet. And I loved the chopped bacon bits added to my peas! The pickled red cabbage was a delicious, unexpected surprise... and to top it all off, the gravy was incredibly tasty! This was the worst food experience on the whole island. They just didn't make the pizza. We ordered pizza and some other stuff and after 20 minutes they told the pizza need 40 minutes. We told we need to go to the ferry and haven't have a lot of time, but 40min is ok. After few minutes he came back and told 15 minutes, ok? Yes ok. After 15 minutes he came and told pizza needs 40 minutes and asked if I want it to go. I said yes, of course. Then we had to pay, no pizza on the bill. He smiled and told pizza is for free, because of the long waiting time. So we waited again for 15 minutes and we had to go.
