Koh Mook City Center Restaurant&Bar — Restaurant in Trang Province

Ordered a stir fried squid costing 150 baht and well to be honest… the portion size was one for that of a small child, very disappointing. Second issue was the beer pricing, over 100 baht for a large beer. I understand it’s a small island and obtaining supplies isn’t easy, but I thought this was a little extreme considering in the shop next door a large beer was 60 baht. Overall the food tastes good but the portion sizing let the place down

Since I can’t reply to the below, I have edited the review and now reduced the service rating due to this very rude reply. This is definitely the correct restaurant. Their response speaks for itself. Apologies, it was actually 120 baht for my “meal” but we were charged 150! It gets worse!...

We ate there once and it was honestly a huge disappointment. We read all the good reviews and had high expectations. The sword fish was expensive but it was dry, without flavour, and almost not eatable (we are no fish experts though! But it was just really bad) The side salad was two leaves and the sauces didn’t make it much better. The spaghetti carbonara was even worse and had zero flavour and was the worst pasta of my life (it traumatised me) but thank god it was a tiny tiny portion. I had the most disappointing experience at this Restaurant. The service was shockingly slow and poorly managed. They brought out my partner’s main course first, and then my dish didn’t arrive until an hour and a half later—completely unacceptable. It wasn’t just us, either; many other guests were visibly frustrated, with several even leaving mid-meal.

It’s clear that the staff was overwhelmed or unorganized, and they made no effort to address the delays or apologize. The atmosphere was tense, and instead of enjoying our evening, we left feeling upset.

This is not the kind of experience you’d expect from a restaurant—especially if you’re paying good money. I won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend...
