King Seafood Restaurant — Restaurant in Trat Province

We tried 2 different seafood restaurants on the island and Kings restaurant is definitely the one to go. Not only is his seafood fresh, his prices were also more reasonable than the other place. We had steamed crab at both places, King's crabs were juicy and sweet, well the other place's was dry and bland and more expensive!

King also serves one of the best seafood sauce I've ever tasted! We came back 2 nights in a row. We had steamed crabs, grilled scallops, raw shrimps with fish sauce, squid teamed with lemon, fried fish, somtum seafood and tom yum fish... And every dish was amazing and flavourful. The seafood were all so juicy and sweet! Service can be slow as the restaurant is only run by their family members but we came early on both days, 6pm and there was hardly any wait. The crowd started to come in around 7pm.

There are also 4 cats in the shop, King adopted them as they were abandoned and you can see how healthy and well fed they are from all that seafood! If you are looking for fresh seafood - grilled, fried or steamed - this is the place...

The best seafood I have ever eaten! The grilled octopus, shrimps, and Tom Yum soup were absolutely incredible—just wow! The flavors were perfectly balanced, fresh, and packed with authenticity.

We were a group of four, including a Thai woman who knows her cuisine well, and we all unanimously agreed this was the best seafood we’ve ever had. Every dish was a masterpiece.

To top it all off, the prices are very reasonable, especially considering the outstanding quality of the food. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere added to the overall experience.

We enjoyed eating at King Seafood Restaurant every day during our 6 days stay by choice, not only due to the proximity of our accommodation. It's a family run business with a very welcoming atmosphere, lovely views over the bay, comfortable seating and wonderful food. Every dish we had, and we tried many different things from their menu, has been really tasty and appreciated. We never had to wait too long even though it's a family run restaurant and while waiting we loved observing life happening in the bay. Thank you King & family for making us...
