Room 168 อุดรธานี — Restaurant in Udon Thani Province

This funky joint is a back blocks version of a Hard Rock Cafe and for lovers of the guitar (like yours truly), it is just like a mini museum. I had the pleasure of cruising into the Room 168 Bar, Udon Thani, around 6pm one fine Friday evening. It was initially quiet, but soon became extremely popular (mainly with local Thai patrons, as I observed), as the mega talented resident soloist fired his electric guitar as well as his smooth vocal chords. They have some excellent deals on both food and beverages, all of which are reasonably priced. This is complemented by flexible service, provided by a team of lovely and super attentive hostess staff. It has that chilled, street-side vibe (see my YouTube Vlog) and afforded me some respite from the proverbial expat bubble, with an authentic local drinking and dining experience.
