My No.1 Vietnamese Restaurant Pick! Tucked away near Wat Somanat, this gem of a Vietnamese restaurant has completely won my heart. If you're driving, there's convenient parking available right behind the restaurant. The ambiance is cozy, the staff are warm and attentive—and most importantly, every single dish we ordered was absolutely delicious. I only managed to snap a photo of one dish before diving in—oops! Here’s what we had: 1. Nam Nueng (Vietnamese Pork Skewers) – A must-try! The grilled pork was smoky and fragrant, wrapped in a dry rice paper that didn’t need soaking—giving a unique texture. The dipping sauce was rich and well-balanced, and the fresh herbs and pineapple added a juicy, sweet contrast that brought everything together beautifully. 2. Vietnamese Fried Tofu – Crispy on the outside, silky on the inside. Served with savory stir-fried chives and a sweet, aromatic plum sauce that made it impossible to stop eating. 3. Vietnamese Rice Noodle Soup (Guay Jub Yuan) – The noodles were perfectly chewy, and the broth was rich and deeply flavorful. So comforting, it was gone in minutes. 4. Fresh Spring Rolls – Packed with fresh herbs and fillings, these rolls were paired with a bold, umami-rich shrimp paste dipping sauce that elevated every bite. If you’re visiting, don’t leave without trying the Nam Nueng. It’s truly something special—flavor-packed, fun to wrap, and perfect for sharing. Whether you're a Vietnamese food lover or just discovering it for the first time, this dish alone makes the visit worthwhile. Trust me, your taste buds will thank you!

One of the best Vietnamese place in Bangkok!!!! And trust me I’ve been to many many places! I ordered plenty dishes on the menu, almost all that available except the Pho. So far I gave Yuenan 9/10 cause there were only few dishes that wasnt much impressive. But the rest are able to top that so-so dishes and blown mind instead! I really enjoy the dish with Deep fried taro, with pork and egg, the sweet sauce that supposed to be eating with makes this one stands out of the crowd. I really cant remember of its name, tho I’m more than willing to go back to have some more cause it’s a staple for me. The texture and the combination of taste are very interesting. So please, dont miss this one! Nem Noung here is also a bit different from what you’d found in Bangkok (or Thailand) because it’s the thin rice paper that does not required water dipping, so you just rolled it and dip into the dipping sauce. (or just put some sauce inside the roll) It also comes with pineapple with is quite unusual and goes well with. What is also great is the kumquat and cane juice. It’s a very interesting and refreshing drink. The atmosphere is hip yet casual, there were only two staffs the day I went there but the service arent too slow, and they are also very friendly. I will definitely going back with friends, family and more!

My favorite Viet restaurant in Bangkok! This is my to-go place when im craving for vietnam food. Always order the same dishes and the taste and quality are very consistency. I would recommend the grill pork skewer set (nam-nueng) and beef pho. These two are a must for me. Nam-nueng here comes with a original vietnam rice paper where you dont need to soak it in water before wrapping. It gives you another texture but very nice. Deep fried tofu is also good. There are many good dishes, recommend to go with a group of 4 so you can order several dishes😉. Also give it a try on the sugarcane juice with calamansi. Parking is available but a lil bit small and may require some skill to park. The place is quite small so i recommend to make a booking in advance. Another downside is that, since the place is small, when the place is packed, it can get very noisy. My last visit, the table next to me was a big group of people and were super loud which made it a bit unpleasant to eat. But overall, still a good place to visit. The food and service are of good quality.

A Vietnam-inspired restaurant in old town just opened 5 months (some menu option that you commonly see in other Vietnamese restaurant maybe still developing here), belonging to group with The Oqposite coffee next door. Although the restaurant team or chef are Thai, the design and taste of the dishes can be good as other first-tier Vietnamese restaurants in Bangkok. The paper rice rolls I ordered were ample, with cute designs, fresh and delicious (and a cute 🪓). The pairing peanut butter is mixed with several ingredients the team discovered in San Diego. Pork noodles, pork is very tasty with rich flavour. Drink list is not a lot now but you can ask for drink menu from the Opqosite Cafe. Although the name is "Yuenan" in Mandarin Pinyin, you should not judge the 'authenticity' because the owner's inspiration is from their trip to Vietnam, and the concept also incorporates Chinese and French touch. It is a place showcasing stories, concepts and memories. The decoration is elegant red, creating nostalgic and fashionable chic. Design of chairs and tables are very nice and gathering-friendly, for small and big groups The waitress are friendly but may not speak fluent English so be patient when ordering. I suggested owner to have Boon Bo Hue and Vietnamese coffee option. Thank you Manager K. Fai (who can speak fluent English) for being patient and friendly sharing with me 😊 definitely will come back! Additional feedback: It might be uncommon to have rice rolls sliced in advance for Vietnamese and Chinese people. I suggest restaurant just serve as it is, no need to ask guest if they want to have rolls cut (have knife served anyway). And they are too cute to see them being cut off 😚 一家曼谷老城區新開才5個月的越-中式風情的餐廳 (某些其他越南餐廳常見的menu這裡可能還在設計中),和隔壁的The Oqposite咖啡是一個集團。

Fresh ingredients with a new twist. After many recommendations, this restaurant could be one of my favorite Vietnamese restaurants in Bangkok. Nam Neung was delicious, never thought that pineapple could pair well with all the ingredients. Highly recommend it. Most of the dishes are tasty, except the Pho, the beef slice was chewy and the soup was so so. Overall the decorations are very nice, the employees provided us with good service. If planning to go during lunch or dinner, reservations would be a good idea. The restaurant also provides parking at the back of the restaurant.

Just had a lunch here between my temple run and it was a great choice. Right between Wat Saket and Wat Ben! The Yuzu pork salad is was so yummy! Filling but not too heavy. If you like Yuzu, you'll love it. Also had the spring roll trio,. Everything was so good. The Yuzu salad comes with a generous helping of chilli, but you can avoid them if heats not your thing. The staff were so accommodating with my lack of Thai. They let me use google translate and they were very patient with me deciding on what to eat. 10/10 would recommend.
