We have just had lunch here and we are still overwhelmed. One of the nicest experiences I have ever had in a restaurant. The owners are a couple, she cooks and he serves the tables. Right after arriving, the owner brought us mango and tee, for free. We ordered Pad Thai and it was delicious, we had already tried this dish in Thailand but tjis one was much richer, with more veggies and chicken than usual and not only noodles. While eating the owner gave us a roti (like a sweet thai pancake) and two ice creams. Again, for free. The local is decorated with pictures that the clients have made for the owners, always showing true appreciation. A very authentic place. Finally, when trying to pay, he told us that tbe prices in the menu were wrong and the actual prices were lower. Unbelievable. Not only he gave us food for free, he was also honest with the bill charging less than we thought. When we tried to give him a well deserved tip, he refused to accept, then he tried to make us give a lower tip amd finally after inisiting a lot he accepted the whole tip we wanted to give him. After this he gave us again for free a bottle of water and a bottle of coconut water. Thank you very much! I wish the world was as nice and kind as these persons are. God bless you.

The value breaks down well. The amount of food you get is generous though! Very ample for foreigner bellies. If you are accustomed to smaller Thai portions, plan for this to be your only meal for the day 😹 I am half Thai + approve this experience. I leave with a smile every time! Clean food, great Bangkok vibes near the wholesale market/mall off the water taxi station + amazing owners. Definitely visit to have this experience. It will warm your heart a bit ^.^ Enjoy reading the hand drawn pictures of happy customers from all over the world. Feel free to draw something up yourself as well! Found this place while waiting at my uncles tour company down the street nearby. I now enthusiastically recommend everyone to come here for lunch. Writing this review, I feel full remembering how full I get My favourite bit is that he always gives me an ice cold water bottle to take to go. I tried to tip him a couple times + he had given me the money back. He simply enjoys his guests to have a good time + treating everyone is their pleasure ^.^ Thank you always! A truly authentic Thai local experience dining here. We were greeted with superb friendly hospitality from them the minute we stepped foot inside. They gave us a free mango, and even sticky rice as my mum craved for it! I’m truly impressed with the sweetness of the mango and the complexity of the sticky rice! We ordered 3 dishes. Pad Thai chicken - truly delicious and sweet, you can add your own chili if you wish it to be spicier, one of the best pad Thai in Bangkok! Basil Chicken - succulent whole slice chicken breast blended with aromatic basil. Truly delicious! Fried chicken rice - super amazing and tasty! You can stick the wok flavor and blend of chicken, spices and rice. It’s amazingly delicious! I can truly say, come here if you want to be part of an amazing local Thai experience! We even were given free coconut ice cream! Which again is good! We will definitely look to return again!

Found this place on Google Maps while looking for a Tom Yum place. Incredibly delicious Tom Yum, exceeded my expectations. The soup contains rich broth and crunchy veggies, as well you can choose from shrimp or chicken as protein. Loved the pineapple in the soup and honestly it was one if not the best Tom Yum I ever tried. The owner was very kind and friendly, and even brought me some mango slices to snack on while waiting for the soup. Being fascinated with the taste I left a tip but the owner was too humble to accept it and thus gave me a water bottle for free in exchange. The walls are decorated with drawings of the previous customers what creates a cosy atmosphere. A true hidden gem of Bangkok! P.s. really literally hidden as it was not that easy to find the place in a narrow side street. This place deserves a Michelin star!
