We made the mistake of coming here without doing any research first. We felt so guilty we could barely make it through our reservation. The rabbits were thin and desperate to eat the grass that was provided for us to feed them, they were missing fur and were patchy. The sugar glider was being handled poorly by staff, it was ripped out of its cage and given to us. It was shaking for the 20 mins we held it, burrowed in the blanket and tucked into a ball. The capybaras (the reason we went) were very antisocial which we are unsure if it’s because of their unbothered nature or other reasons. The cats swarmed us and were clawing and biting each other over the small food bowl we were given to feed them. These animals behaved as if they’ve not seen food for how long. The workers would often take the food off us and guide the capybaras to climb on us to eat, once eaten they would hop off and sit in the corner. I wish we hadn’t gone, such a shame because we were so excited for the animal encounters. We wish we were better informed and implore those who are looking to visit to take this review into serious...
Read moreStarted off well , ended badly. My cousins enjoyed the capybaras . We asked also for 3 sugar gliders. They didn’t instruct us or warned us that the two types of gliders get into an argument and that they don’t get along.
It led to a huge battle between the 2 (they didn’t have 3 to give us, gladly) they bit my 4 year old niece in the leg and my sister as well when she tried to break them up.
The staff was very apathetic about it, which I find very strange. They took back the gliders after maybe 5 minutes and on top of all after my niece was crying the whole time and my sister almost fainted, the staff seemed like they couldn’t care less and charged us for 3 gliders.
I told them we never got three and we shouldn’t pay for the two others we didn’t even get to spend the whole time we paid for the gliders.
I felt like they only care for their money and not pleasing their customers when they know they were at the wrong.
At least have some decency and don’t charge or at least warn the customers that the gliders fight. It’s very...
Read moreA Wonderful Capybara Café Experience!
We had such a fantastic time at this Capybara Café! The drinks were delicious, the service was friendly and attentive, and the whole place had a super cute and cosy atmosphere. The capybaras were clearly very well cared for—gentle, clean, and used to human interaction. You can really tell they’re loved and in a good environment.
The other animals were in smaller cages, which was a bit unfortunate, but the café’s focus is clearly on the capybaras, and that part is truly special. We tried not to focus on the other animals in their small cages..
The toilet is quite small, but it’s good enough if you need it in an emergency. Plus, the adorable interior and fun merch made the whole visit even more memorable.
We left feeling incredibly happy—definitely a unique and lovely experience! Would absolutely...
