TU, Sri Panwa Phuket — Restaurant in Wichit

I recently visited this place and, overall, was quite disappointed. It’s important to know that they mainly serve snacks — which is actually fine for me — but if you’re looking for a proper dinner spot, you should probably skip this one. Additionally, if you’re not staying at their resort, you’re required to spend at least 1,500 THB. That would have been okay, but at first the waiter told me the minimum was 1,000 THB, and only when I asked for the bill did they inform me it was actually 1,500 THB. Honestly, that’s a steep minimum considering the quality offered. The food didn’t look like the pictures at all, and the cocktails were just average — nothing special or memorable. The main highlights are the decoration (I liked the bean bags used as chairs and the place where you can take sunset pictures) and the potential for a good sunset view, though unfortunately, I didn’t get to experience that either. The view is great however the rest is not great Cocktails were average and tasted watered down. They charge 550 baht plus 17% service and vat fee so was expecting quality cocktails.

Overall the view is really amazing but the service lacked a premium feel. The staff spilled half my drink and didn't apologise or make an effort to remake or top it up.

Ordered beef tacos and beef nachos, the tacos came out cold. Nachos were average.

Required minimum spend is 1500 per person which is super steep for Thailand. As a premium venue I expect more. I don't mind paying premium prices but I expect the service and quality of food and drink to match.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Tu Bar and Restaurant in Phuket, and it was an amazing experience!
