I can't quite leave a review for the cones yet, but I am incredibly impressed by the level customer service and empathy that Avi has demonstrated.

TL;DR: My boyfriend and I tried going to the Dough Cone this past Sunday. When the location on the Facebook page was incorrect and they were about to close, he was willing to wait with his team to make sure we got to try some DoughCone on him. When we said we didn't want his staff to wait and that we would just get some another time, he coordinated a day where we could go (along with some friends and family)

I've been attempting to get Dough Cone ice cream since August 2017. This past Sunday (3/11/2018) I literally structured my day around it, checked the Facebook page, checked the hours, and made a plan to be in the area an hour before the truck closed.

When my boyfriend and I finally arrived at the location specified by Facebook, we were not able to find it. We ended up calling and to be honest, I was a bit irate because this was the third time I had gone out here and the truck was not there (first two times were on me, I should have checked their Facebook updates and the non-catering hours).

Avi was incredibly empathetic and told us where the truck was actually located and how to find it in the future. He was also thankful, as the incorrect Facebook location explained the difficulty other patrons were having finding The Dough Cone. The truck closed in about 30 minutes at that point in time, and he offered to stay there and make sure we were finally able to experience the Dough Cone (all on him). We didn't want to make him wait or pay for our cones, so we said we'd catch him next week.

Shortly after the call, Avi texted us to invite us and 10 of our family/friends to The Dough Cone. He was even willing to have it split it into 2 visits so an out of town friend could make it during a different week.

I am amazed by this amount of customer service and can't wait to finally try...

I hired The DoughCone food truck for a recent event, and I genuinely can’t say enough good things about the experience. From start to finish, they went above and beyond—not just with their incredible desserts, but with their full-service catering and event support.

The doughcones themselves? Absolutely unreal. Fresh, warm, cinnamon-sugar cones filled with the creamiest ice cream and all the over-the-top toppings you could dream of. Our guests were obsessed—we’re still getting texts about them weeks later!

But what really blew me away was how much more they brought to the table. They helped us source amazing entertainment—live music, a magician that had everyone in awe, and even professional bartenders who kept the vibe flowing all night. It felt like we had an entire event team in our corner, not just a food truck.

The staff was professional, upbeat, and genuinely fun to work with. They made the planning process so smooth and handled everything with confidence and creativity. I felt completely taken care of, and more importantly, my guests had an unforgettable time.

If you’re planning an event and want something that’s both delicious and next-level in terms of experience, book The DoughCone. Seriously. Best...

I don't know if this would classify as a full experience for dough cone.

For teacher appreciation, our school had their mobile food truck come to our school. There was only one attendant who served 50 plus adults. The attendant was responsible for taking the orders and then making the orders. I'm a simple vanilla ice cream and Oreo toppings type of guy, so that's what I ordered. It took upwards of 20 to 29 (this time seems random but I know it because I was on my lunch break which is 30 minutes) minutes between getting my order taken and then waiting in line for her to take a couple more orders and then prepare the 10 to 12 orders that she had taken.

I gave them three stars because the thought and planning that went into it wasn't very good. My last gripe would be that at the bottom of the ice cream there is some type of dough that has an alcoholic or maybe just a taste I am not familiar with. I am not a fan of that dough/bread. Purposefully or if that's some type of accident? Either way, I need to be alerted to anything that's going to be placed in my ice cream.

Edit: It was explained to me how the situations from that delicious yet interesting experience happened, because of that, I'm raising my star count...

We saw them outside of the anime festival and were intrigued. None of us have tried ice cream on a "donut cone" so we thought we'd give it a shot. My friends and I let them surprise us with the toppings since there wasn't anything on the list we didn't like. I'm sorry to report that out of the 4 people in our group that tried it, no one liked it. The ice cream was much too sweet to begin with and the toppings further inundated it with sugar. The cone was also under all of the ice cream and it tasted stale. It was difficult to get to it as it was buried under the heap of ice cream. It was also difficult to cut pieces of the cone off with the plastic spoon provided. The ice cream was icy, and not creamy. Maybe it was just a bad day with a new team, but we're only in TX for a short time. I doubt we'll try them again. It looks like they take food allergies very seriously. I think it's great that they're mindful of these things, especially in the hospitality business. The staff was extremely nice, but that doesn't make stuff taste better. I think it's a good concept, but the execution is just not there.

As a local Realtor®, I recently partnered with DoughCone Ice Cream for a “Scoop & See” event at a K. Hovnanian® Homes community — and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! From start to finish, the DoughCone team was incredibly professional, with great communication, punctuality, and top-tier service. The setup was clean, organized, and visually appealing — perfect for a family-friendly real estate event. But let’s talk about the ice cream… absolutely amazing! Fresh, flavorful, and a huge hit with everyone who attended. It truly added the perfect touch to the event. This collaboration went so smoothly that I’m already looking forward to many more. DoughCone made it effortless, fun, and memorable — highly recommend them for any event or celebration!

This dessert is insane and worth every single artery blocking, sugar coma inducing calorie. Topping options are endless so come prepared to make some serious life-altering decisions, sometimes Butterfinger and Reese's just can't be ignored. I had the cup option because I thought it would be less messy. After tasting the gloriousness of that doughnut, I wish I had ordered the doughnut cone. The cup comes with small pieces of doughnut. If I had known how good it tasted I wouldn't have minded swimming in ice cream for that taste! It's a meal on its own and has every major food group in it, so come prepared. Have a protein shake for breakfast and salad for lunch, because you're going to think about ordering a second one.

We had a fantastic experience working with DoughCone for our recent employee appreciation event! From start to finish, communication was smooth, professional, and timely. The team was easy to work with and made the planning process effortless. On the day of the event, everything went off without a hitch (except for a few rain drops but that didn't stop us lol), and the ice cream treats were a huge hit—our employees absolutely loved them! Thank you for helping us create a fun and memorable day. We’d gladly work with you again in the future!

The most interesting beautiful delicious goodness of an ice cream! Yum! I have been following them on Instagram for a while now and couldn’t wait until I tried them. . I enjoyed the many choices they offer both in terms of size of the cone, all the choices of sauces for inside the cone, and then an unlimited choice of topping from crunchy, creamy, and fresh fruits and nuts.. We ordered two handmade signature dough cones and a cup which was perfect for kids to hold and enjoy. We will be back soon!

I’ve gone here a few times at their Herman park truck location, and it is hands down the best ice cream treat! I live 45 min away and have driven here to get a cone because it’s so good! I’ve had both the sundae and the DoughCone. I love that it’s unlimited sauces and toppings and the staff is so kind and helpful in helping you get the most perfect combination! The ice cream has such a perfect consistency and all the ingredients are premium and you can taste it! Will be coming back many times!

The DoughCone was delicious! From the second I walked up to the truck, I was greeted with friendly faces and a warm welcome. It was my first time, so the employees were very helpful in describing the different options and suggesting their own favorites - I ended up going with a custom Sundae and I was not let down. Amazing taste and the presentation was so good I almost didn’t want to ruin it! Will definitely stop by again, I encourage you to do the same :)
