I had an excellent time at Blue Turtle Bay, the amount of detail that went into the decor and design of the resort is breathtaking. The air is fresh and natural, I found them on the map while in lome with my friend and we decided to visit. I took lots of beautiful photos . The language barrier wasn’t an issue because the staff could understand some basic English and I met some English speaking strangers I took photos with.
Three things to note;
Entry into the resort is free but to sit and stay you have to pay. Especially to use the umbrella stands close to the beach. I paid 5,000FCFA to use them. Other activities like Kayaking is absolutely free but I tipped the kayaking guy 1k
The view on the main beach is more breathtaking so make sure you walk around the resort and explore, to walk round the whole resort will take you about 45 mins to 1 Hr I also collected sea shells at the beach close to the rocks.
Their menu is the regular, a little pricey but the service is okay for the resort. The coconut cocktails were 4,500FCFA for non alcoholic and 6,500FCFA for alcoholic. The Pizza we got was 6,500FCFA. The prices were between 5.5k to 9k
I spent a total of 8 hours at the resort, it was much more quiet because I went on a weekday, there’s a variety of activities to do like the kayaking, swimming, and playing football or volleyball. I slept, I ate, and I played. I had a great time in general. Such a wholesome experience, I will definitely...
Read moreIf you want to eat or drink seething at the beach, you need to pay an entrance fee. Then I was waiting for 20 minutes, while I saw 7 people standing around the bar (there were almost no people at the beach). They told me someone was coming. The food was fine, my burger was burnt. After that no one asked me if I wanted something else to drink and after an hour, the bill came without asking for it. Going home, we wanted to give the security guard something, because I had forgotten my covid mask (I couldn't go in without it, after that, no one was wearing a mask) . He was talking to us, while new guests arrived and the manager yelled at him that he needed to help the guests with their luggage (who by the way weren't wearing any masks, but nothing was said about that). We were left standing there, so we left. General impression was that it was a very nice environment, but they focus on the guests who pay the most (at the beach, the people who pay a lot to sit somewhere received great service). I was very...
Read moreExpensive but well worth it! This place is like a private resort in Togo. They have a sushi bar, a restaurant that serves pizza, burgers and other stuff and stiff drinks. They also have a lagoon area that gets the water from the ocean, and is cleaned often(water isn't cycled as much as I would hope, but it's clean-ish) . You can also go to the beach if you prefer. They play music at the lagoon, music at the restaurant, and sushi bar. This place is still being built and will soon be even better than it is now. They have area for you to play volleyball with friends and offer you plenty of options of things you can do. The food and drinks may be expensive (drinks 10usd) (small pizza 10usd) but it is a great place to get away from...
