Kanak's sigdi — Restaurant in Lomé

I went there on 22 March 2024 with my husband to have some breakfast there. When I reached , I found it beautiful but no lights fan and AC. We asked them to open the AC, they said that AC is not working properly and needs repairing. We insisted that they start AC anyhow and they started. It was perfectly fine surprisingly. Anyways we ignored. Then we ordered one parantha and one masala pasta. Parantha without oil and butter , no achar no chutney was served . There was just curd with aalu parantha. I asked them to give butter with parantha . How can anyone eat like this. They said we serve with curd Only. Trust me parantha was just like potato filled in normal roti. There was no oil. Anyways they gave butter achar and chutney after that. Second my masala pasta comes. It was not authentic masala pasta but was more close to penny pasta . But I don't have regret with that. Afterwards we asked for the bill. They gave the bill with 8500 cifa. But in menu parantha was 2000 , pasta was 4000 . And they wrote 3000 for parantha, 5000 for pasta and 500 for butter. I told my husband about the menu and he asked. Then the owner without saying sorry he outburst his employee. And he corrected it again with saying our price is updated and it is 2500 for parantha and pasta is still same. We were waiting for our taxi and suddenly their cook came near to us turn off the AC while we were sitting there and gone inside. Although the food was good it is heavily overpriced. In addition, the service is poor. Our party of 8 wrote down our order so as to ensure we got the correct order and the order was STILL incorrect for two of our guests. Moreover, they've changed the menu prices, but have not changed the MENU, therefore there's an absence of transperancy on their part.
