The only place I go for fried chicken in Nuku’alofa. I had the chicken cutlet / chicken katsu on rice. It was served with a honey mustard type of dipping sauce, which I really liked as it was less sweet and more savory. This fried chicken was dark meat and it was cooked to perfection. I paired it with the iced green tea and I would highly recommend this combination. Dining in Tonga takes a lot of patience and you have to remind yourself that you are on an island in the middle of the pacific, there are limitations on what the restaurants can source in terms of ingredients. They were out of fresh watermelon juice and cream for the pasta dishes, both my original choices.
