Jaxx International Grill — Restaurant in Arima

My family visited this establishment earlier this year. It was something we were all looking forward to as it was the first time since covid that we were all going out together as some of them live in another country and were only able to come to Trinidad recently. We choose to go for Rib It Wednesday. When we received our bill we realized that one person was charged for a half rack of ribs instead of the rib it special. When we asked about it the server said that the person asked for a half rack. The server should have asked her if she meant the half rack or the rib it special, since it was basically the same thing. Or advise her that there was a special since that would be the right thing to do, that is if you are aiming to give good customer service. This is the space at Shops of Arima, it's wayyy too small. My goodness, it feels like other tables are a part of your table. What stood out for me was the service, Afesha I believe her name was, very pleasant and tried her very best to make us as comfortable as possible 💕❤️ the food was good, I always eat from the Movie Towne Branch and for some reason my Heart Attack wasn't as tasty, the patty was bland but of course that Strawberry sauce is a picker upper! My family and I visited the Grand Bazaar branch once and I was terribly ill the entire night after eating the food. We decided to visit the Shops of Arima branch on a subsequent occasion. The service and atmosphere were excellent, however, I tried another another item on the menu and it was very bland. I did enjoy the passion fruit juice. It tasted great. Colouring pages are provided for families with children. Absolutely appreciated that! Everyone's experience will be different, but I may not visit this establishment again...
