MammaMia Pizzeria & Cucina Italiana — Restaurant in Arima

Went for dinner with my wife recently at the grand bazaar branch last Friday and I must say the customer service was terrible. No one bothered to check in to see if we needed anything. We literally had to ask for cutlery, ask for someone to take our order. They made an issue to even change cutlery after use from appetisers to main courses. The waitress had a terrible attitude and seemed to not know about the menu or even customer service. We used to love to dine in because the food and service used to be good, but every time we go back the service seems to be getting worst. Its really a shame because the food is good most times but the owners/ managers really need to be present most times because the female staff especially need to be retrained. Hats off to the male staff member who at the end was very profession, really wish he had attend to us instead. Most likely we will not be returning especially if we spend close to $1000 dollars and end up getting really poor...

I quite like the atmosphere. Quiet and cozy. Friday 13th October was my 4th time at the restaurant for the year. Something changed. I always have a salad which was served with bread. No bread was served, when questioned the server said bread was not served with the warm Lentils salad. The Lentils w as mushy and the vinegrette was different, not as before. I don't know whether the chef has changed but the food definitely has. I could deal with the wait for the meal but compromised taste and being short changed-NO. Mamamia claims authentic Italian taste. Bread is served with salads in Italy. Be fair to your customers. I feel bad even thinking about not dining at your restaurant again. Since it’s my birthday and I rarely get to go to mamma Mia since it’s a bit out of my way, I decided that it would be my treat. I have zero regrets! The servers were an absolute delight! So attentive, and genuinely helpful, not to mention extremely polite! It was such a wonderful evening and I really owe it to your wonderful staff! They really made a good day great and I just wanted them to know how much I appreciated it ☺️☺️☺️
