My girlfriend brought me to Adam's Bagels for bagels (I presumed). Instead, I enjoyed a quality breakfast without one bagel! This eatery is a must dining treat for young and old, cosmopolitan or pedestrian.
Location in the P.O.S. is accessible and parking was plentiful on a Thursday @ 8:30 am. My first impression walking in the door was favorable, from the lite hello from the barista to the bright lighting to the clean tabletops and chairs. Someone CARES.
Our server was perfect. We didn't wait long for our Café Latte or Moccacino. My Latte had a perfect froth and a delightful heart design. I ordered the Greek omelet and my gf ordered the Bruchetta. The latter was superb, my omelet average. I recommend the smoked salmon and do check out the pastries counter! My gf luved the éclair.
Cost for two was $200 TT. Not cheap, but you get what you pay for today. If you're low on coin, go for an Americano and a croissant!
The owner was present on-site; a totally affable man from all appearances. Bathroom was clean and stocked. Bread and other treats also available for sale in store. Patrons varied and ran the gamut. All round good energy...

Service and the atmosphere is another level in this Port of Spain eatery. International quality for this 50 year old café that has expanded and modernized over the years.
My companion's Bruschetta tasted Italian-made although the bread was too dry. My Greek omelet suffered from a pedestrian presentation and flavour. On the other hand, our Latte and Moccacino were phenomenal. So too was the éclair: Parisienne quality and flavour. I recommend the pastries for sure!
The patrons are chill, the place full, but no waiting at 8:30 on a Thursday, parking plentiful and access is easy. Washrooms are very clean and stocked. The breakfast cost $200 TT. Reasonable at this level of dining experience.
Overall, I would return for sure, but try something different...
Read moreWent here with a friend for brunch. Ended up staying for one and a half hours. We had a bacon jalapeno omelet with a croissant, and a chicken pita sandwich (we shared both, no problem). We also had moccachino coffee, grapefruit and Portugal juices. The breakfast was great. The croissant was a bit overdone for my liking ( not fully Parisean quality) but still edible. The bathroom was clean. Hand sanitizer and temp was done at the door but not closely monitored at the time we went in. The ambiance was nice. The smell of the baked goods was heavenly. The prices were not bad. My friend left with a chocolate panache (best moist chocolate cake ever!), a custard scone (artistry in a bite) and a small cheese cake. She also bought sesame seed bagels on request of friend who frequents and recommended the place. All in all, it was a...
