Jv's 29 Spices — Restaurant in Trinidad

Jv's came up as an ad on Instagram so we decided to try them. First things first, Google Maps took us way past our destination. As you turn into Henry St from the Main Rd it's right there on your right. I think the building is orange. But there is a sign so look out for it. We ordered their chicken salad, seasoned fries, regular beef burger and the volcano burger with the buffalo chicken leg topping. For me the fries were not seasoned enough. They were nice and crispy and there was seasoning but not enough to call them seasoned fries. I enjoyed the salad. I'm not a fan of pineapple in food but the pineapple in the salad worked. The burger patties were well cooked and quite tasty. There's pineapple in the burgers as well so be prepared for that, and cheese. There are nachos on everything, but that works as well. The buffalo chicken leg wasn't really buffalo, more like barbecue, but besides being a smidge salty the chicken and the accompanying burger were quite tasty. We want to go back and try other things. They're worth another visit.

Word to the wise, call first. We ordered 6 things and that took a while.

As promised we returned. They have a cool catalogue which you can use to order via WhatsApp. I placed our order and immediately they responded to let me know they had no wings. I updated the order, gave a pick up time and that was that. The order was ready right on time. This time we had the beef salad. Mmmm, I think it was even yummier than the chicken. And the that pineapple in there!!! They've made a believer of me. The drumstick on the volcano burger was perfect this time, though the beef patty was a little salty (didn't taste it last time so can't compare). Again,...

I first saw Jv's 29 spices on the gram. Someone did a review of the Ramen Alfredo pasta and I swear I was tasting it through my screen....so I had to get in and find out for myself.

Sadly, it was not to be as the Ramen Alfredo was unavailable on the menu that evening but with the exceptional customer service, I was lead to other mouth watering options on the menu.

This rounds I ordered the Volcano Burger with the Buffalo Leg Topping ( yes you read that right) and the Jv’s S.C.P.F -parmesan fries with a saucy BBQ chicken breast.

I couldn't wait, before that car went into reverse a fork full of fries was in my mouth before I drove off....😋. The was box closed but the aroma was enticingly calling meh name, my taste buds done know what time it and I grateful for every traffic light I didn't have to stop by. I couldn't wait to reach home.....

I sunk my teeth into that Volcano Burger Burger....every bite was better than the last....and honestly, when it was all gone I was vex I was full. The fries that I didn't order for myself was looking good. I just wanted to eat everything in one go but my stomach say, "take it easy girl, tmrw is another day🤣🤣🤣!"

This was my third time trying JV's 29 Spices and I must say I enjoyed my meal very much. I believe I bought the grill chicken and cheesy season fries, (I believe the actual name on the menu is "S.C.P.F") the fact that this is my third time buying the same thing should tell you that it's one of the best tasting meals that I've purchased in a long while. I also introduced it to one of my friends, and as picky as they are, (not calling no names lol) they themselves enjoyed it, so thanks again. One other thing I would like to mention. The welcome and professionalism I received from one of your workers/co-worker (I believe her name was Sarah) was exceptional as well, especially with her delightful and warm smile, so keep the good work up and thanks...
