Wing Hua — Restaurant in Trinidad

Usually the food and service is really good. But then I haven't eaten there in a long while, until tonight. First the waitress gave us (my husband and I) the menu and came back in less than two minutes to see if we were ready to order. I may need just a tad more time. Secondly, when she came to take the order she stood behind me. Maybe she expected my husband to give the order. But when I started to speak it would have been professional to walk two steps towards me instead of me turning around to speak to her. Thirdly, she didn't not write down the order, probably thinking she would remember it all. But at last, she didn't. My husband is yet to have his soup. And finally, there was a spoilt smell coming from my food. Oh! Bonus points, $10 extra to change chow mein to chunky vegetables and I could have counted the amount of vegetables we received. Plus an extra $2 for fried dry chicken. I've been to quite a number of Chinese restaurants and not once have I ever had to pay extra for fried dry. And why aren't there any small options? BEWARE they like to give you food people have brought back and they love to give out the wrong order. They gave me the wrong food order and refused to give my correct order because "I didn't bring back the pepper shrimp" I wasn't aware that I didn't bring back the shrimp and immediately the cashier started yelling at me and calling me a liar. The manager made my daughter cry and i definitely will not be going back.

Well I was super excited to know that there was a branch in the east. No real parking 4 cars on the sidewalk. I ordered our favorite lemon and buttered chicken. The chicken was very, very very tough. I thought that maybe the chicken was reused from earlier or something and it was not seasoned at all?? The rice was a whole lot and also not tasty, with just a few strings of cabbage and lots of carrots as the Chow mein. Very very disappointed, since we've had some very lovely tasty meals in the Chaguanas branch.
