St. Mary's Bakery — Restaurant in Tunapuna-Piarco

You have to be a regular at this place or know exactly what you want and exactly how to communicate that to the attendants in this place (per their process which is not advertised anywhere) or the experience will be less than pleasant. It's a bakery, there should be happy people there. They should make everyone happy who visits. Doesn't happen - they probably need training and a change in their way of eating - get off grains or something. I went there recently because someone asked me to order a cake for them. Before that I had been deliberately avoiding the place because the experiences of going there prior were not pleasant enough to make me want to go back. The place smells good.... that's why they have one star. If I had to choose to eat baked goods I would pick an entirely new place to try rather than go here. People who are happy with the level of service here obviously don't know better or have low standards for whom they give their hard-earned money to. More power to them... but...

Love this place a whole lot. Yummy yummy for my tummy. Christmas eve I bought large sponge cake, 2 plait bread, 1 sweetbread. I enjoyed everything except the sweetbread. There was no taste of coconut. This time I tried the raisin rolls and coconut buns instead of the sweetbread. Simply awesome flavor and taste. I think it might be even better than there currants rolls. Really delicious. Also this time I bought the cake I got a cake box. Great...
