Mimie Fatima, Chef Sammy’s newly opened restaurant, is an absolute delight. From the moment you step in, the warm and inviting ambiance sets the stage for an exceptional dining experience. The decor is tasteful, creating a cozy yet elegant atmosphere that makes you feel right at home.

But the real star here is Chef Sammy himself. His culinary skills are nothing short of extraordinary. Every dish we tried was a burst of flavor, meticulously crafted and beautifully presented. It’s clear that Chef Sammy pours his heart and soul into every plate, and the result is simply amazing.

On top of that, Chef Sammy is one of the kindest and most welcoming people you’ll ever meet. His passion for cooking and genuine care for his guests shine through in every interaction. He takes the time to ensure that every customer feels special, and that personal touch makes the dining experience even more memorable.

If you're looking for a place with outstanding food, a charming ambiance, and a chef who truly cares, look no further than Mimie Fatima. Chef Sammy has created something truly special here, and I can’t wait to come...

The owners of Wostel Hostel where I was staying a few blocks away recommended Mamie Fatima to me when I asked for a good restaurant, so I was expecting it to be good. But it exceeded my expectations. They had beef cous-cous on the specials menu. I asked if they could prepare vegetable cous-cous instead and they obliged for a lower price. I think that is the best cous-cous I've ever had and I traveled a lot in Morocco and Tunisia in the past. Pumpkin is in season and that made it extra yummy. The Tunisian salad is crunchy and delicious, nothing like the bland lettuce with a tomato that some cultures call a salad. I was going to try their sherbet, but they were out, so the owner's daughter who is also the server and cashier recommended a pistachio milk drink that they make themselves. Wow! So creamy and delicious. Today I went back and got a rice dish, also very yummy but too filling. I hate to waste food, but I couldn't finish it all. I tried the hazelnut milk, but like the owner's daughter said, the pistachio is the best. And their dishes and decor are very beautiful and traditional. Don't...

We wanted to try something far from the sea and the horde of tourists and we got attracted by this restaurant. Food is very delicious, varying from traditional Tunisian cuisine to more international plates such as pasta. Menu also varies, thanks to the 'plates of the day' and the waiters have been very pleased and friendly. You may park nearby, although the street market may make the streets busy during lunch times. Prices are around half of the prices from the capital.
