Best meal we’ve had in Tunisia. If you want a local family to cook you totally local, traditional food, come here. The food was outstanding. At first we were a bit hesitant because there are literally two tables and that’s it. They also didn’t have a menu and just listed what they could make (long list!). We ordered tons of dishes to share and every one was phenomenal. Trust the process. Don’t let the simple surroundings deter you. Stay. Eat. Enjoy. You won’t be disappointed. Dinner for 6 with several orders of grilled steaks and chicken, plus sandwiches, vegetables, and teas after dinner came to 215 TDR. Very reasonable for...

For authentic home-cooked style meals, this restaurant is an absolute must. The flavours were amazing, is definitely the best meal I have had in Tunisia….I used my bread to completely clean up every last morsel of food from the plate. And their mint tea was completely spot on.

Is run by the Mum and her 4 daughters, they create a relaxed genuine atmosphere with their friendly engaging energy, their passion for cooking and making people happy is apparent.

Be sure to enjoy a meal or two at this wonderful family run restaurant, you will...

We ate there 3 days in a row during our 4 days visit at Djerba. It is owned by an amazing family and they make everything by themselves. We had the frikasse something like an extra fluffy donut/fried brioche pastry filled with egg and tuna salad (it is their speciality and it is top notch) grilled fish, the falafel (so good!) and the Tunisian salad. We ate at a couple of places during our 10 days stay in Tunisia and that was the best Tunisian salad we had! We also had amazing handmade fries, the best ones in a while! Totally...
