Palm Djerba Café Restaurant — Restaurant in Médenine

We had a dinner at the Palm Djerba restaurant. Noone greeted us, we entered and chose the table by ourselves (got the menu on our own too). Waiters only speak Arabic and French, the menu is in French only. Tried to explain what we wanted to eat for a long time, the waiter couldn't understand us. Ordered pizza and caesar salad in the end (asked many times for pizza without onion). When the waiter brought our meals, the pizza had onion in it, we reminded that we wanted it to be without onion, he took it back and just picked the onion from it and gave us the pizza back. Caesar salad wasn't as it was supposed to be (it had no cheese, it had mushrooms with cabbage and mayonnaise). We were very disappointed and annoyed by the food and the service, we don't recommend this...

Very bad experience! I went after reading the comments but was shocked. There is no value for the money we paid for the breakfast! People are smoking near to children, service is very slow. Poor breakfast for the same price I would get enough much in Tunis or Gabes or Sousse. Don t ask for Djerbian breakfast because they bring a very intasty bowl as traditional dish (الله يكرم النعمة). The café at this hotel was a huge letdown. The service was slow and inattentive, and the quality of the drinks was terrible. Coffee was weak and often cold, pastries were stale, and the overall atmosphere was dull and uninviting. For the prices they charge, I expected so much more. Honestly, it felt like they didn’t care about their customers at all. Definitely avoid if you want a decent break...
