PITA-GORE Greek Food Lab — Restaurant in Maghreb

When we arrived at the restaurant, the taxi we took charged us per person, asking for much more than normal, and we ran out of cash. This left us in a very difficult situation.

However, the restaurant staff showed incredible hospitality. When we explained our situation, without any hesitation, they helped us and even paid for our taxi back to the hotel out of their own pockets. We will never forget this kindness. 🙏

I had a hummus pita , the sandwich combination was good enough but can be much better . It would’ve been better to taste fresh bread and not a pre heated one . It would’ve been better to have fresher chicken as it might have been sitting there for a day . The restaurant was full when i went in so there is no excuse not to have freshly cooked meat . Flavourful twist on Greek souvlaki pitas. The flatbread is infused with star anise (though it should be baked a bit longer) and really generous portions. However, the chicken souvlaki was not seasoned in an authentically Greek way and was not enough. The tzatziki sauce was great, but should be scaled back.
