My wife and I went to this restaurant based on posted reviews! When we got there, we really got the impression that we not welcome, but they seated us out the back anyway! My starter, fried calamari, was dry and greasy at the same time! Yuck! Our main courses arrived, and to our horror, my wife's seafood pasta had the consistency of wallpaper paste, the squid was like tyre rubber and her prawns were so overcooked they ended up powdery and tasteless! My veal schnitzel parmesan arrived overcooked and smelling somewhat like an old boot! At no point in time did any of the staff bother to ask us how our meals were, despite us asking for various condiments and finally resorting to lemon to try and make both our dishes palatable, an impossible task I'm afraid to say! We left most of both our meals largely untouched, but this still eliceted no response from the staff, and it became clear that our experience of thier restaurant was of no importance to them whatsoever. As to ambience, if the owner holding court at French speaking tables is your thing, then you're tikkedty boo! Otherwise, dullsville pre war style! Don't waste...
Read moreI came with my wife to have a nice dinner. First we have been greeted at the door and offered to be seated inside. I requested if it's possible to have a seat outside as the weather was nice , and have been told that all the tables are reserved for other customers. I asked from about the time frame of the reservation as it was already 20.00 and the waiter told me that it's reserved for regular customers who will be coming at 20.30. By regular customers he meant local customers from Sousse. 5 minutes later, I saw the same waiter offering another couple to have one of the reserved tables saying:" is this table okay for you?"" My concern here is why when I requested for a seat outside I was denied and another couple they got it??? Why the waiter discriminates his clientèle ? I do hope I get an answer from the manager. Based on my experience I won't recommend this restaurant and I won't be back. P.s: the food quality was average. If I could give zero star or below I won't...

Just had a dinner there with my family and relatives.
This lovely gem in Sousse has been my best restaurant experience in Tunisia so far, even among Tunis and Hammamet.
This restaurant is backed by decades of hard work, science, and consistency, by the owner, Mr. Chaieb who we had the pleasure of meeting tonight and chatting with h briefly. He is working side by side all his staff, constantly paying attention to every small detail, and making sure every dish is served to his standards. You can tell that there's a great team work behind the whole experience.
Two things impressed me the most. First, how they could successfully offer gastronomic experience from different cuisines in one place - Tunisian, Italian, French, and seafood.
The second thing was the quality of their local beef (steaks), seafood, and cheese.
Thank you, we will be...
