The "Rock'n Rolla" is a bar with live music and food next to the Lido hotel in La Goulette. The entrance is on the left hand side of the hotel entrance and not really marked. After entering you need to go through another door to get into the room itself. There you'll find a mixed crowd willing to party (often to rock) and most evenings a band playing live music. The drinks are reasonably priced (Celtia 7TD, Becks 8TD, cheaper during happy hour before 20:00) and the service is excellent (the barkeeper knew what I'm drinking already on the second evening). If you order several beers they are served in a bucket with ice to keep cold as this place can heat up quite a bit. Read moreMy friend (Tunisian) and I walked into the bar - a young doorman let us in. Then an older, taller doorman ran up and said we couldn't go in as it was 'too crowded' (it wasn't) and I had to pay 10 dinar to go in. My friend refused and after 10 minutes we were let in for free (which is what it should be). In the meantime people walked in without having to pay.
This excepted, it was a good night - there was some live music on and the atmosphere was good.
Unfortunately smoking is allowed so you breath in a lot of smoke, cough a lot and leave with your clothes...

Unfortunately the current manager doesn’t seem to be enjoying the good nights with his customers
We were surprisingly shocked to witness a manager that is not able to attend to his customers, always unhappy and on his nerves, and not able to welcome some of his most loyal clients.
I have to be fair and give and a thumbs up to the good service and an appreciative approach from the waiters
As far as the music goes, it is a great place to be in if you are in for some Rock n Rolla
