Develi1912 Ankara — Restaurant in Çankaya

The most disappointing restaurant experience in the 7 months of traveling all over Türkiye. The food was very over-priced for the tiny serving - we both ordered kebabs and it was one small piece of meat with a bit of flatbread, no salad, no bulgur, nothing else. For a higher price and nicer restaurant, it would be expected to get good food but sadly that was not the case in this restaurant. And be aware of random charges being added to your bill without warning in the end for things you hadn't ordered or consumed but are a standard. The fixed rate for tip is also added, even though the server definitely didn't deserve it. Is 800TL (per person inc extra charges) worth for a small disappointing piece of meat that doesn't even fill your stomach? I don't believe so, therefore wouldn't be...

Fantastic restaurant above all for qualiy of meet and kebab. Service is perfect. Meze and entrees are so well presented and so intresting.....remind always to ask for cooked humus with bacon and for a plate of mixed salad: believe me....Unbelieveble. So good fistik baklava for dessert and the usual final "numbernone" plate of mixer fruit. Raki is the perfect drink to eat and enjoy such simIlar dinner. The restaurant feels elegant and the higher levels in summer period are better than the lower one beccasse the overview up on Ankara . My friend Bunyamin and all the staff are doing a real professional work for the success of Develi and the enviroment inside is so friendly and, as always in Ankara, so sincere. ...

Important- If you don’t speak Turkish, don’t go here. We were a table of six, of which one was an 80 year old. Translated and confirmed 3 appetizers and then some kebabs. They brought us ₺13,000 TL worth of food, of which half we didn’t even touch thinking it was the sides that came with the food (which we were charged for and never ordered).

The food was good, but what’s the point of going to a place where they won’t even help you with your wellbeing in mind?
