KABURGACI SABRİ — Restaurant in Arnavutköy

We were lucky to find Kaburgasi Sabri a short walk from our hotel. One person at the restaurant spoke very good English and was able to help us with the Turkish menu. They specializes in lamb, and slaughter the lamb in the morning so the meat is fresh. We ordered the special lamb kebap, lamb chops, lamb ribs, and a chicken kebap. They brought out 3 different mezzes as complimentary. The lamb kebap was the best I had in the 2 weeks we were in Turkey. The lamb chop, lamb ribs and chicken kebap were also so very good. All had good flavor and was not dry. At the end, they gave us 4 Turkish Delight cakes and Turkish tea for free. To top it off, the meal was one of the most reasonable priced meal we had. Very conveniently situated among various airport hotels. I went on a Sunday lunchtime and was the only customer. The owner was really nice, very friendly. He showed me the different meats for the kebabs. I had the chicken which was cooked to order and arrived on beautiful soft bread with roasted peppers and various salads.
