Hidden House — Restaurant in Beşiktaş

I had high expectations after being recommended to visit this place by a friend. Unfortunately from the moment we walked through the door we were overwhelmed by the noise of a party of 15 people shouting and laughing. We wanted to sit outside but the noise was so disturbing, as if in a nightclub yet it was a Sunday afternoon. We ended up sitting inside a dark room where we could still hear the noise a bit nd struggled to talk together and we were also mostly ignored by the staff. The prices are very high, includibg an automatic service charge and the vegetable pasta I ordered looked weird and tested horrible. No sauce and a nasty sour taste, I was unable to finish it. There are many other cafes in Istanbul with a calm ambience, more attentive service...

The place is small but cosy. Located in central of Bebek. Price for Bebek are more then reasonable. Service is average not very personally for a small place. Cheese plate was a jocke....just some usual cheese most cheap one and no deco ( nuts, dry fruits...nothing). Bread warm up in micro and no good quality. Eggs benedicts. Average taste, spinach with no taste and not fresh ( brown colors)...sauce hollandaise...(bof). Hmmmm very professional coffee machine but not good coffee....well i was not impressed...would love a bit more expensive and...

I’ve waited for something better. We spent 500 TRY for 2 person. Food was like no taste… no spices, no salt. We got pasta and grilled salmon. U honestly can get something much better for those money. There are many cool places in Istanbul. And second reason for just 3 stars is cats. Ofc! It’s usual thing. Cats and dogs everywhere. But cats aggressive wanted to get in my plate 😂 I even have a pic of this And that’s not end.. Second (or third)cat almost fell on our heads.. I can’t say it’s comfortable place...
