We had reservations to dine & were told in written that we’d stay at our table for the live music part. When we arrived, we were told we’d be taken to an inferior table that was way behind for the “live music event”, even before our first meal was served. We had already made a pre-payment, which was forced in cash, not even CC was accepted. We nicely told 3 different people multiple times that this was not mentioned when we made the reservation, that we didnt understand why we’d be reseated elsewhere. They just didnt care. First we were told “that’s how it is”, then someone said that they take larger groups in the front, which is a lie. They take 20 year old women joining 60+ guys in the front. Then we were told there was a higher limit for those tables, which is also a lie because we were only informed about 2 options previously: dine or only live music. Then, one of them finally admitted they reserve those tables for the friends of the owners. Absolutely horrible management. They did not handle a simple & quite straightforward issue well. I dont understand the point of making a reservation and spending 6K per person if I dont even get to stay at or at least around my table, let alone given a decent and respectful answer. We waited 2 hours standing before the music even started. One of the hosts pushed me over during live music. He saw it and didnt even apologize. Absolutely rude hosts, promoters whatever they’d like to call themselves. Not respectful at all. We had to deal w/ a drunk guy all night long, no one even cared to intervene. The only good thing was the quinoa salad which was more of a kale salad than a quinoa and even that was not consistent. We ordered it twice and the dressing was completely off on the second. Overpriced, overrated. Obviously the management doesnt care about any of these comments or how disrespectful & unprofessional their attitudes are perceived by a variety of both international and local clientele. Disgraceful & sad. Plenty of other decent places w/ live music and great food where it’s not a “privilege” to be “treated...

We had a reservation for 6 people, including our guests, from abroad. We already made a deposit value of 1 person.
Reservation was for 11pm, and 2 of our friends were there at 10.50pm. However, they said they would let them in as soon as 6 of us were there. There was a huge rain/storm in Istanbul with a bad traffic jam as usual. That's why 4 of us, including our guests, were late for 10 minutes (23.10).
They said they would not let us in because the place was already too crowded and there were other reservations at 23.30 and later on. Even we said we made a deposit to guarantee our place, and our 2 friends were there on time, and you did not let them in. In the meantime, they let in some groups even if they were not complete.
Then the guy at the door who is only responsible for checking the reservation and letting people in said to us, "It is up to me who will go in or not and i will send you money back to you."
Talking about the money and these reactions is an unacceptable behavior for a place like that one as this is the very well-known and luxury place in Istanbul.
At the end of the story, I would recommend you to go to "Boaz Live," which is just 5 min walk from that one where you will have way much more fun. This was what we did and it was an amazing night from...
Read moreI have mixed feelings about this place. Nice view, good bar tender, good sushi. Vibrant place, with good music. However, bad management. Too many tables (you feel like people are sitting on top of you), slow waiters, some are rude. I also had a bad experience, where the management did apologize and tried to make up for it; yet I very strongly believe that problem can never happen in a serious establishment, and the way it was handled initially was very poor. It feels all the restaurant wants to do is to make money, not making sure that you have...
