We arrived around midnight to be told our sea view room was unavailable due to a ceiling issue. We were placed in a standard room “just for the night” and promised the best sea view room for the remainder of our stay. The next morning, we were moved — but the room was the same size, on the first floor, with trees blocking the view. After raising this with reception, we requested a second-floor room instead, which was granted. It wasn’t any bigger than the others, but at least had the view we were expecting. Honestly, if we hadn’t been told we’d get the best sea view room, we probably wouldn’t have been as annoyed.||Staff: The staff are what make this hotel. Every single one we encountered was brilliant and attentive. Special shout-out to the beach bar team who delivered drinks straight to our loungers, the lovely waitress on the rooftop terrace (whose name I frustratingly can’t recall), the maids who kept our room spotless and fridge stocked, and the Prive Assistants who set up a really useful WhatsApp chat for guest questions. I hope their efforts are reflected properly in their salaries and benefits — they deserve it.||Food & Drink:| • Table service at the sun loungers was amazing and quick.| • The midnight snack service (12–1am) was a welcome touch, especially for late arrivals.| • Food overall is tasty but repetitive — both at the buffet and the à la carte, which also suffered from very dim lighting indoors.| • The snack bar during the day was actually better than the buffet in my opinion.| • Breakfast won’t suit a traditional British/Irish palate. You’ll get fried eggs and toast, but that’s about it. Not a problem for us, but fussy eaters may struggle.||Atmosphere & Entertainment:| • Nighttime entertainment was overall good — the cyber party night was a real highlight.| • However, the DJ volume was unnecessarily loud and clashed with the hotel next door’s DJ, especially in the rooftop bar. We’re not against music at night (we often stayed out ourselves), but the volume bordered on ridiculous.| • The buffet restaurant needs a rethink on background music — the same 5–6 songs were on repeat for days before the playlist changed.||Other Positives:| • Plenty of sun loungers — no need to reserve early.| • The hotel photographers were friendly and we bought a couple of photos (€10 each), though they can be a little pushy.| • The boat taxi to Bodrum town is great value (150 TL one way, under 10 minutes).||Room for Improvement:| • The hotel could really benefit from having an ATM on-site or nearby. We had to borrow 300 TL from a staff member just to get the boat taxi, which we later repaid, but it meant we didn’t withdraw enough to tip staff properly. Installing an ATM would solve this problem for guests and probably increase tipping.||A Note on Inclusivity:|One area where training is needed: tactful communication with gay guests. On two occasions, staff asked if my partner and I were “friends or brothers.” When we replied that we were boyfriends, one staff member said, “okay, friends then.” Another staff member asked if we were twins. While I don’t believe these comments were meant with malice, they were tactless and outdated. It didn’t ruin our trip, but it did leave us feeling uncomfortable.||Overall:|This hotel is lifted by its incredible staff and thoughtful touches (lounger service, WhatsApp chat, boat taxi access). But repetitive food, painfully loud music, small missteps around inclusivity, and a frustrating check-in experience stop it from being truly...

My stay at Hotel Prive Bodrum during the first week of May was nothing short of exceptional. Opting for their all-inclusive deal turned out to be the best decision, as from the moment we stepped in, we were treated to a level of hospitality that exceeded expectations.
Upon arrival, we were graciously upgraded to a stunning sea-facing room. Clean, well-designed, and complete with a balcony boasting breathtaking views of both the sea and the swimming pool, it was an instant delight. The inclusion of a mini-bar in our deal was a pleasant surprise.
Throughout our time at the resort, Damla Yapar from the guest relations team stood out with her unwavering assistance and valuable recommendations, particularly in helping us arrange scooter rentals for exploring the area.
The resort's private section of the sea offered easy access to the waters, while the well-maintained swimming pool provided an equally enjoyable alternative. The availability of a professional photographer added a unique touch to our experience, allowing us to capture cherished moments. His services were included in the deal, but we had to pay for downloading the photos that we liked, and the price was reasonable.
I must commend the diligent cleaning staff, who ensured our rooms were tidy throughout our stay. Despite being a short distance from the bustling Bodrum town center, the resort offered a tranquil escape, with the option of a convenient water taxi for those seeking city adventures.
The Saturday night DJ deserves special mention for setting the perfect ambiance with an impressive selection of music.
As an eggetarian, I was pleasantly surprised by the abundance of vegetarian options available at each meal. The extensive buffet spread for breakfast, lunch, and dinner left me spoilt for choice, and the attentive service provided by waitstaff - Erkan, Alperen, and Aigrem made every dining experience memorable. Murat's skillful preparation of delicious omelettes at the live cooking station was a highlight of each morning.
In conclusion, my stay at Hotel Prive Bodrum was nothing short of remarkable. From the luxurious accommodations to the impeccable service and flavorful dining options, every aspect of the experience contributed to a truly unforgettable getaway. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone seeking a perfect blend of luxury, hospitality, and...
