I have not stayed in this hotel, this is a review for their restaurant and terrace only: We have visited the “beach” area (there is no real sandy beach as pretty much all of Bodrum, only access to the ocean) for lunch in the afternoon. It was honestly a bit bizarre to sit at a table just next to people enjoying the sun and waterfront or even just sleeping on the sun beds half naked. Nevertheless, we have ordered many items off of the short menu and the food was good (the starters were great, the main courses very boring and quite heavy). What really bothered me, however, was that the personnel didn’t really understand our requests and literally rushed through our meal despite us asking to take their time. After all, the seating timing for a reservation is 2 hours, but we were done with a three course meal in a little over 30 minutes.. on top of that the background music was extremely boring and very deep and dark house music (for reference, I love house music so this really wasn’t good) - just not what you’re looking for when going out for lunch to enjoy a beautiful day. The food is fairly priced, but the drinks are really expensive, even compared to Dubai standards.
We decided to give the terrace aka club area a go, which, as per their social media, opens at 5:30 pm and according to their reception staff was open by 4:30 pm already “but it will be empty now.” Hence, we made our way up there just to be told by another hostess that it won’t be open till 6pm. We waited till 6 pm to at least experience the venue. It is a stunningly beautiful place, honestly, but nothing really goes on there until probably 9 pm. The music is very low and boring and there are barely any people present at the time. You can order food there, too. We did not have the energy to wait past 8:30 pm to finally see some party vibe start and decided to leave. We discovered later that there was another restaurant at the terrace area open for dinner. It was, however, impossible to understand their program or venue upfront so that it rather turned out to be a disappointment. I would not deem this venue unattractive, but more detailed info available about it would be much appreciated in order to make the appropriate reservations one is looking for.
So, if you want to enjoy a day by the sea and have a nice meal, too, please book the beach area. Because no, the lunch doesn’t turn into a party like you’d expect it to happen in south of France or Dubai. If you’re looking for a meal and continue with a party, I would recommend booking dinner at the terrace and moving to the club area later. I wish I had this info before making my reservations so I hope this will help anyone else reading it and I hope that team will improve their communication...
Read moreScorpios Bodrum is absolutely breathtaking from the moment you enter.
The staff is exceptional, and the architecture is stunning. Because I genuinely love this place and want to see it thrive and remain part of Bodrum for many more years, I’d like to offer a few constructive suggestions for improvement:
Transportation to the venue: Once you reach main gate, to reach to the actual venue is a bit uncomfortable. The buggy cars (golf carts) that shuttle guests are driven at extremely high speeds. I’ve even heard there was an accident in the past. In contrast, the Maxx Royal Hotel which is next to it uses similar vehicles with enforced speed limits, creating a much safer and more comfortable experience. At Scorpios, the drivers often young seem to be speeding unnecessarily, perhaps to to bring more customers often, but it’s quite uncomfortable and even stressful for guests of all ages coming to enjoy the venue.
Music: In my opinion, the music selection could be significantly improved.
The heavy use of percussion and drums has become too strongly associated with the Scorpios brand, but it doesn’t match the the setting, mediatterian/ aegean sea vibe or the preferences of much of the clientele. This type of music may eventually discourage many guests and the clientele will change in time. Zuma also recently stopped this kind of music.
A more refined electronic playlist, something like what you’d hear on Radio FG, or dance music with lyrics from actual world star singers /groups with remix for example—would better suit the atmosphere. People want to dance here to actual dance music. Or just Try 80 or 90s one night see the vibe
Additionally, since there’s a different DJ each day, it would be helpful if the venue provided a short description of each DJ’s music style so guests know what to expect without having to search individually.
Overall: The venue is truly exceptional. With just a few improvement, especially in terms of transportation safety and music selection. Scorpios Bodrum has the potential to be even more unforgettable.
I sincerely hope my feedback is taken in the spirit of support and appreciation for such a unique and...

We visited Scorpios twice — first on a Sunday, then again the following Friday — and both visits were fantastic, but the first one set the bar extremely high. 👏
From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed and taken to the Beach Club, seated right in front of the water 🌊 — absolute prime spot. ⭕️Zehra Sülün⭕️ looked after us and she was exceptional. She’s not just good at her job — she’s a total superstar. 🌟 Professional, warm, gave us space when needed, but never missed a beat. Scorpios management: this person deserves serious recognition. Because of her, we had one of the best experiences we’ve had anywhere. Period.
Special mention also to ⭕️Ermey⭕️ at reception — super friendly guy, genuinely helpful, and set the tone for the day from the second we walked in. First impressions matter, and he nailed it. 👌
Later that night, we moved up to the terrace for the music — and it was 🔥. Great energy, great crowd, the whole place just hits different. Top-tier vibes all around. 🎶✨
Our second visit was Friday. Same beach club, had a few drinks, and while the staff member serving us was new, he gave it his best — respectful and trying hard. 💪 But here’s the thing: management should back up their newer staff with senior team members on deck. It’s a noticeable difference when there’s no experienced support guiding them, especially in a place that runs on premium service.
Friday night, back to the terrace — music again on point, drinks flowing, no complaints. 🍸 And shoutout to ⭕️Tanju⭕️ at the bar — two nights in a row, absolute legend. Cool under pressure, friendly, and knew what he was doing. Another one who deserves recognition from management. 🙌
Overall: Incredible atmosphere, stunning location, top-shelf music, and some real MVPs on the team. 💯 We’ll definitely be back — and we’ll be recommending Scorpios to...
