Alo 24 — Restaurant in Fethiye

I have been to this place several times over the years, often with friends and have recommended it. This time, I've visited with my partner 3 times (Nov. 2024) and was really disappointed. The service is slack and somewhat impertinent. The food quality has dropped compared to the years before. On one occasion when we ordered our meals together, mine came after my partner had finished hers and the place wasn't even busy. A rather silly excuse was given. On another occasion the lamb skewer I had ordered was inedible. Far too sinewy and some cartilage in more than half the meat. They continue the same quality of food still today. Not too many places in Fethiye.

My friend went to near hospital, it was fairly early morning and l wanted to eat something small. Many places were still closed so l went to Alo. All l ordered was chicken soup. Nice thick creamy traditional Turkish soup. To my surprise soup came with nice cheese bread and fresh crest salad with lemon slices. Bottle of water was extra 2lira. Meal was small but very tasty. We arrived in Fethiye and decided to grab a bite. We stumbled upon Alo 24, which was the only place that seemed to have Authentic Turkish Cuisine (the other restaurants in the area seemed to have Westernised their food) and was frequented by locals. We decided to have an Iskender Kebap and the Beyti Surma - both of which were delicious and well-priced.
