A Hidden Gem with Authentic Charm

During our visit to Fethiye, we had the pleasure of dining at Mekan Restaurant in Çalış – and it turned out to be one of the most memorable culinary experiences of our trip.

We ordered both meat and fish dishes, and everything we tried was incredibly flavorful and well-prepared. The ingredients were perfectly seasoned, and each dish arrived hot and beautifully presented. The fish, in particular, was tender and cooked to perfection, while the meat dishes had a rich, satisfying depth of flavor.

What truly stood out, however, was the warmth of the service. The staff were not only attentive and friendly but genuinely caring and thoughtful. Their hospitality created a welcoming, almost familiar atmosphere that made us feel more like guests than customers.

The setting of the restaurant adds to its charm. It's modest and unpretentious – far removed from the more commercialized, tourist-heavy spots in the area. This simplicity brings a sense of intimacy and authenticity that we deeply appreciated. It’s exactly the kind of place where you can relax, unwind, and fully enjoy both your food and your company.

Well worth a visit for breakfast or lunch. Very friendly staff but most don't speak much English. The menu comes in English or Turkish. My husband had Pide which was a generous size and also ordered fries which was a large bowl. I had the chicken sandwich with was very taste and came with fries. Reasons prices compared to others in Calis but is off the main area of Calis ans down in Koca Çalis....

Nice restaurant at the beach. The tables are placed on the sand and you can have your dinner while sitting a few meters from the sea. Meal is good quality with some professional presentation and taste. There is live music after 9:30 PM, with mixture of Western and Turkish songs. The music is so loud that it kills any...
