We went there for dinner on the first day of our visit to Antalya in the first week of July. We were a family of 4. It was the fish options which lured us to go there. Obviously they had fresh fish on display at the entrance and the manager took us to pick the fish we wanted. We picked a sea bass which was about 1 kg or less and 4 shrimps (about 400gms in total) to grill and 2 red snappers which is about 200gms each for frying. Also we bought one avocado salad and one anchovy for starters, 4 orange juices and 2 Turkish coffees for drinks. To be honest the food wasn't that bad but the atmosphere was full of cigarette smoke. If you're not a smoker, this place isn't for you, let alone bringing your kids. When it's time to wind up, here comes the surprise in the form of your bill. 4400TRY! Which was about €180 on that day's rate! It was a great shock to be honest. We never expected this to be so expensive in a laid back area's restaurant! It isn't in any prime location nor does it have any posh appearances. Partially it was our mistake too. We should've asked for the menu in the first place. However, we learned the hard way and never made that mistake again during our stay. Guess what? we didn't have to pay more than 600 Liras for dinners in any other places in Antalya. No matter how big the dishes were! These guys really ripped us off. We fell for their nice and welcoming attitude. I don't recommend this place at all....

The only thing the place has in abundance is flies. A tremendous number of them. In a single seating we had the pleasure to be visited by at least 9 flies. And these are not just your ordinary flies, these are the most courageous, daring flies I have ever seen in my life. One landed on my partner's hair. The others queued on the chair next to me. Two others performed fly sex publicly. There is certainly the unique atmosphere of being surrounded by flies, and the one-and-only dining experience of trying to avoid flies.
Perhaps the only praise I can muster is that the food is simple to understand. I ordered the dish cheese and melon, for TL25. Soon the waiter presented me with exactly that, a piece of cheese and, right next to it, a slice of melon. This is not to mention that the quality of the cheese is only comparable to the ones found in convenience stores.
Oh. I forgot to mention that they have one menu in English and another one in Turkish. Each with...
Read moreAs a TOURIST AVOID this place at all costs, these are the types of restaurants that they warn you about. My wife was looking forward to some fish and while the display selection looked amazing it was neither value for money nor cooked with any spice or sauce, just grilled to death.
My wife, the inquisitive woman she is, asked for the best eating fish, to which she was assured that the one the waiter chose for her on display was the best from the local sea. Far from it, and at £55 not very good value, especially as it is caught regularly right outside in the ocean.
As for the choice of wine, all of them were local and a complete rip off at over £50 a bottle, we managed to find a dry rose at £29 which we can only assume was a writing error on the menu.
To be fair we did go in as it looked busy with loads of Turkish people but I can only assume they weren’t paying £55 for their fish...
