Would rate a 0 (zero) if there was an option. Menu is shown to you with lighting speed highlighting how cheap in Turkish Lira, and they quickly suggest a few options, nothing more than 150 tl per portion. They then bring you all these different accompaniments (tomato, cucumber, chilli etc) which one assumes is part of the meal and leave a few pieces of baklava on a plate. We ordered Ayran, and they pointed to a jug already on the table. Once you are done with your meal, there's someone that brings tea to you and leaves it at the table, i assumed this was free as i experienced this hospitality on the asian side of Istanbul / Turkey. Once you receive the bill, that's when you realize that it's a tourist trap. There is no breakdown. The bill is just the amount on a piece of paper. When queried thats when they tell you everything is charged for. The jug of Ayran is charged for in full even though we only had 1 glass. The baklava is charged in full and not how many pieces you eat. And nobody understands English when you query it. 1 x kofte, 1 x chicken kebaab, 1 x meat kebaab, 2 x cold drinks, 1 x ayran, and the baklava = 990 tl. Food is bland, absolutely tasteless. Sole purpose is to take advantage of tourists. Sad to say that the majority of turkey is this way. Met a few honest, hardworking business owners, but 99% are all scam artists thats destroying the reputation of turkey. 1st and last time...

I like fast service, even if it means semi pre-prepared food. Service is very friendly and helpful.
Piyaz is very good, but need to be eaten after the sun is down. Ekstras is clean served, more than enough and very fresh...
Kofte (meat) was too soft for my taste, could be grilled better when they are not fingerformed. The pide (bread) was a couple days old but warmed up to served (it helps)
All in all really good food for...
Read moreFood was flavoursome and tasty specially my kofte, and the portions were ideal. Staff were friendly enough and we managed to communicate OK even with the language barrier. Our excursion guide organised the meal as part of the city tour, and this was his chosen venue. We sat outside on the decking which was pleasant on a sunny December day. One small addition would be good and that is some sauces or condiments to go with the kebabs or meals automatically. Still recommend anyone to try them when...
