I liked Filika so much, especially when you get to know Vahip. He is an incredible host who goes out of his way to arrange a wonderful meal for you and your guests. His personalized touch makes you feel very privileged and VIP. Although the place isn't overly luxurious, the high-quality service and food more than make up for it.

You don't come to Filika looking for luxury; you come for the outstanding experience. The atmosphere is amazing, situated right on the edge of the sea at the mini port of fishermen. The sound of the waves, the gentle sea breeze, and the charming view of fishing boats create a serene and captivating setting.

The view was lovely. We had 3 dishes, 1 meze (anchovies) and water to share, and 1 single glass of wine. The two main dishes (perch and salmon) were nothing spectacular but decent. Nothing to complain about. I, however, ordered the grilled calamari in the aperizer list as a main dish myself. It was quite different than usual. I was expecting a whole grilled calamari but i got a few greasy, salty, spicy stripes of squid. On top of that, the waiter suddenly came and poured some soy sauce on it without asking, and before I could say anything. Which made it even more salty. I could not really enjoy it. The food is average, the Karides Güveç (Shrimp Casserole) had everything but Karides. Paçanga Böreği was great though and the fish was fresh. The waiter forgot the fries that we ordered with appetizers and when we reminded them about it, they sent it AFTER we were done eating the main course, naturally we returned it but the service guy literally acted as if we had done some something rude, I felt really uneasy experiencing his behavior.
