In the last 2 years what went wrong? I know for sure that teh management is the same, so what has happened then?

I came here many times before and I enjoyed their "Pedi" in all my previous visits. But since the pandemic this was my first visit and I did not like the pie not for a single bit. I was craving a cheese pie, so I went on and ordered one, the pie dough was stiff and the edges were hard, though and to bite and chew. The cheese was disastrous, it turns into a chunk in your mouth as it cools down, you can not chew it good enough to break it down and the mouth sensation was annoying. I could not finish my pie and if it was not for geh pickles on the side, -which by the way has grate tasting lightly picked onions in it- I would even left behind even a bigger portion of the pie uneaten. The pickles saved them from a 2 star review. I'm hesitant to come back but if I do, I hope to try the pies I used to eat...

Visited Sariyer from Istanbul old town - about 75mins on the ferry - highly recommend this day trip. Stopped here for lunch and so happy we did. I don't often give 5 stars but the food here deserves it, most especially the desserts. The bread is superb, from their wood- fired ovens, pides too come from the oven and are delicious. Loved the pickled salad. My absolute favourite is the desserts - an absolute must. We tried the quince, the pumpkin and the noodley-looking one. They are all good, especially the quince and pumpkin. Bugün(24/11/2024), verdiğimiz iki döner siparişi için 15-20dk bekleyince kalkmak istedik. Çeşitli bahaneler ile oyalandıktan sonra, içinde gerçekten çamur olan tabaklarla, döner diye tabir ettikleri rezalet et geldi. İhtimalen alt kattan üst kata tabakları taşırlarken, merdiven boşluğunda yere düşen domatesi ve biberi tekrar tabakların üzerine koymuşlar. Oradan en son kim geçtiyse de çamuru ve pisliği tabaklarımızdaydı. Neyse, Yemeden tekrar hesabı istedik. Yetkili olduğunu düşündüğüm bir adam geldi ve bugün dönercilerinin olmadığını bu sebeple öyle kötü döner geldiğini anlattı. “Kardeşim dönerciniz yok ne yapmaya satıyorsunuz” diye sorduk, “Ehe öhö” dışında söyleyecek bir cevabı da olmadı. Neyse çamurlu gelen yemediğimiz saçma tabakların da parasını da ödeyerek çıktık. Size, unuttukları ayran siparişimizi hatırlattığımda, delik ayran getirdiklerini, ‘Salata’ adı altında 5 saat önce doğranmış bazı kumlu yeşilliklerden, sıcak pide adımlarında en az beş defa ısıtılmış taşlaşmış ekmekler ve kara lahana dolması adıyla sekiz tur çevrilerek dolma şekli verilmiş karalahana yaprağı içinde hayvan iç yağı ve pirinçten bahsetmeye gerek yok zannedersem. Oğlan çok mızmızlandığı için önünden geçerken mecburen girmek zorunda kaldığımız bu ‘işletmeden’, 45 dk sonunda hiç bir şey yiyemedik. Bizim burası ile daha önce de kötü bir tecrübemiz olmuştu. Haftaiçi sakin bir günde gittiğimizde de pide yemeğe çalışmıştık. Önümüze hayatımda ilk defa bu kadar kötü et kokusu olan yine kirli yiyecekler gelmişti. Özellikle pazar günü, paranızı burada çarçur etmeyin. Sorsanız ekonomik şartlar vs vs diye anlatır restorandaki bozulmanın sebebini. Fakat gerçek sebep ahlak yoksunluğudur.
