Yeniköy Kaşıbeyaz Bosphorus — Restaurant in Sarıyer

We ordered four kinds of starters (meze), two kebap dishes (pistachio and adana) and one 350 ml bottle of rakı. The quality and taste of the starters was good, but it definitely was not the best in the city and didn't match the name of Kaşibeyaz. Also from variety point of view, it could be richer. So it was a solid 4/5. The main dishes were really delicious and the size of the meal was also adequate. So it gets 5/5. The price for this order was almost 1400 TL, which is really good for a restaurant with such a reputation. 5/5 Unfortunately, I didn't know that I need to mention the floor in which I want to have the reservation. Restaurant is in a 3 floor building with a Fantastic view of the Bosphorus, especially if you get a table next to the window. The restaurant tries to give the appearance of being highend, and the prices are on the upper level. But the service was lackluster; anytime we asked for water, tea or something else it came late and only after asking multiple times, despite the fact that it was not very crowded. We came for breakfast. The jams and cheeses were not very good quality. The food items (cheese, salad, olives, etc.) were not presented well. Some of the service plates were plastic. Ramadan 2024 , per person cost for Iftar is 1800 TL which is very not reflected in the food nor service. The waiters provided the food like they were in a hurry or a race, for children under 6 they asked us in the beginning that the main course will be spicy if we want extra meal like meat balls however in their main course there were meat balls!! They made us order extra meal! Coffee was not included in the price they added it to the bill and there was an extra service fee about 550 tl which doesn’t make sense about the high price of the iftar per person !
