To be on point, the atmosphere looks way better on the pictures as in reality - nothing special, but nice. We got there earlier and made some photos with my fiancee, not sure why but 10 minutes before the opening - while we are making photos and look around the cleaning lady with her mobile on her ears talking loud made us feel really bad with pushing the machines to our direction (while plenty of place to clean up), grimacing with her face. There were other guests who came in, only to take photos at the same time (so no spending, we just realized later as they left without even drinking a glass of water), still noone sent them out, which is okay as this is free commercial for the place.
BUT we were real guests who came 1 hour away and just arrived a bit early. Even after we finished the food and the cleaner “lady” realized we are paid guests, she acted super weird and unfriendly, not only with us. If I am the boss and I see this, I would immediately fire such person. She is working in the last minute before opening, talking on her mobile non-stop LOUD, while kind of lowkey abusing clients, unacceptable.
Food was medium quality, not bad, but was worth not even half of the price compared to the reviews and how famous is the place. Fried rice was approx 25% of the size what You get anywhere else, so spare some money after your launch elsewhere.
Atmosphere? Fish in the tank and our waiter made our stay 2-3 stars out of 10, but overall when we entered we got no smile from anyone in the lobby, even I asked for our table (zero service at arrival), plus the super rude cleaner made me almost leave within 20 minutes, only stayed cause it took 1 hour drive and expenses to get here. Ohh and the waiter made us as the first guest waiting for like 20 minutes, before took any order - I don’t like to wait 30 minutes as the first guest in a hyped restaurant for a coca-cola, not even talking about the dishes.
Overvalued, not recommended with unfriendly and inexperienced crew - could be a great restaurant with a totally capable management.
Who I recommend this place (HONEST REVIEW!)? For young couples going there for Instagram pictures, that’s the place delivers - and the good news, you can do this for free, and won’t be handled worse than actual PAYING guest. So I encourage You to go there, make your photos for free and go to eat a better food for half of the price somewhere close.
Shame on this restaurant, I am upset that I wasted time and money...
Read moreI left hungry and thirsty just as I came in. It was our last night, so my husband researched this restaurant and we thought it sounds amazing. However most of the good reviews seem to be quite outdated. The menu posted here is also outdated: the prices are double and the portions are minimal. When we first walked in there was a bar area. There were no staff, it looked closed. Some people were confused and walked out. We found the restaurant behind it only because I insisted on looking as we had a reservation. We were greeted by member of staff after a few mins of wondering around the tables. We were late to be seated for our reservation by 15 mins. The music was too loud - we could not sit in the designated seats at the table and had to move close together to hear each other. They got my husbands drink order wrong and brought him just a coke. My drink never came. We reminded the waiting staff but it did not show up the entire meal. I wanted the chicken ginger noodles, but the waiter said its very spicy, so I ordered the fillet mignon and my husband ordered the noodles instead. He likes spicy food and I do not. When dish came and we tasted it, it was not at all spicy. My fillet mignon - was all there was on a plate with a smudge of some sauce. It was small enough to fit into the palm of my hand. Not even a potato on the plate. I was not given a steak knife. By the time the wait staff stopped ignoring my husband trying to get their attention, I had finished half of it with a lot of effort trying to cut it. My drink never arrived but we reminded the wait staff several times. My mum was not hungry so ordered just some ice cream. Her oder of 2 scoops came when we were half way through our dishes. I finished the dish in a few bites as it was so miniscule. The tables are scratched up. We were charged for my drink which took the waiting staff approx 10 mins to amend and come back to us. I'm glad there was just about enough food on my husbands plate or he too would have gone back hungry. The waiting staff could see we were not happy so tried their best to avoid the table and not once did they ask if everything is OK with the food etc. Some loud music plays from time to time and the staff encourage everyone to whip their napkins in the air. At first it was fun. But afterwards we made a joke that they do it to celebrate each time get something...
Read moreWhile I was booking a reservation online (way in advance) I left a special request asking to provide the closest table to the aquarium as my wife would celebrate her birthday on that day. I saw on YouTube how b-days are managed at the restaurant (cake with candle + a song with rotating towels). That was supposed to be a little surprise for my wife.
Unclear and confusing signals (we ended up not being on the same page): We came to the restaurant on the scheduled date and time, I had a quick conversation with an employee at the entrance making sure that he knew that my wife was having a birthday. He answered, "Yes, I know". At that moment I thought that everything was arranged properly. Then we were taken inside to our table, and it turned out we were given a table way away from the aquarium. I looked around briefly and saw that there were no empty tables near the aquarium, so we sat down where they seated us. But at that moment I already began to think, that my special request was ignored. Later that day, sitting at the table, I saw the same employee who told me that he knew it was my wife’s birthday, and I told him that we were already going to leave, in his eyes I saw understanding, and I hoped that now they would harry up bringing us the surprise cake and will wish her a happy birthday. But this never happened.
Atmosphere: Really loud club-like-techno music, it was literally hard to relax and even hard to hear/talk-to each other. I’d prefer to listen to way calmer music in terms of volume and style (something like jazz for example) A lot of children were running, screaming and crying
Service: A bad table was given to us No cake, no song on b-day Quite a long wait to pay the bill it was very noticeable that the waiters were always busy and running around in a hurry We decided to order tornado sushi rolls with paper mayo, and we asked how much paper would be spicy. We were told that it would not be spicy at all (they did not provide alternative sauces), but it turned out that it was quite spicy. The waiter talked us from ordering a dedicated broccoli plate that my wife wanted, saying that we’d already have broccoli in the seafood plate we had already ordered. But it turned out that there was only a couple of broccoli, which was not enough.
Wish was quite good - so...
