I visited Yaşar Baba Restaurant during my holiday in Cappadocia, and it turned out to be more than just a meal — it was a full cultural experience.
The evening starts with a generous spread of complimentary snacks and fruits — raisins, nuts, fresh fruit slices like apples and oranges, as well as yogurt-based starters and small meze. These are served before the main performance, and while they’re simple, they really give you a taste of Turkish hospitality. Don’t expect heavy meals here, the focus is more on the entertainment and ambience.
The performance is the highlight: you’ll get to see traditional Turkish folk dances, whirling dervishes, and cultural shows all performed in a cave-like setting that feels authentic and atmospheric.
