Günaydın Kebap & Steakhouse Mersin — Restaurant in Yenişehir

Wish you did not economise on heating late December. We went to this venue at Mersin Marina as we know this well known brand with a successful restaurant in istanbul but it is nothing to do with "GUNAYDIN RESTAURANT IN MERSIN MARINA" Entering Restaurant: Hostess asked if we have a reservation answer no and then let us seat on second row she kept reserving all the tables next to sea front panoramic window by putting a wine bottle in the middle on the table. Seating : Fine dining priced restaurant with a covuvert charge but no help to the woman guests by seating and not asking if we wish to give our coats ( we understood lately coats are going to be necessary) Order taking : The waiter called his colleague by yelling his name without a title and from long distance "bring over menues" Well after menus closed and left on the table the waiter arrives and asks if we took our decisions. Than we ordered. Than another waiter appears (younger one with a basket has bread inside only as the number of persons one for each a small piece of puffed flat bread he mentioned bread is hot pay attention and than if we wish traditional "tulum" cheese and butter already brought to the table to have with our bred which is going to be charged but not mentioned. ( we guessed that it is not free but the thing we did not like is the bread was not hot as mentioned and it was cold) it did not taste any good even though it was good quality cheese and butter when the bread was cold. Atmosphere: Football on tv :( , and extremely cold sallon on December the 28 th no heating on . We understand than why the bred just came out of oven arrives cold to our table. We informed the waiter about the situation and " we have 3 A.C. United running and it is cold today. But when we were almost leaving the saloon was heated so economising on heating is not matching with the prices. as a conclusion; Freezing was not letting us enjoy our meal. Food arrived extremely late and we informed the waiter and he mentioned the crowded table ordered complicated kebap which takes time , indicates place badly managed as when an item on the menu ordered by to many people other guests supposed to wait even though it is earlier hours of the evening and restaurant is 1/3 full . The reserved tables never occupied until we left the restaurant. The waiter wiped our table to clean the sesame crumbles of the bred with a steel equipment and the waiter mentioned when the table is less dirty we do a wiping. (no comment) Food was delicious compliments to the chef. Portions was average kebap house portion. As mersin is a kebap city we will keep looking for a better kebap place while we are in...

Erdemli’de güvenilir bi yer olsun garantisi olsun diye burayı tercih ettik.Ön görüşmede servisi,sanayideki ustaları gömerken kendileri kusursuz iş yaptıklarını 1 sene de garanti verdiklerini servis ayarında oldukları söylediler.İlk sahibi olduğum araçta ağır bakımları için verdim ve ertesi gün işimiz bitti alabilirsiniz dediler.Ödemelerini yaptım ve arabayla ayrıldım.100 m ileri gidip ışıklara girerken araçtan ses geldiğini duydum ve kenara çektiğimde 4 lastiğinde bijonlarının gevşek ve elle döndüğünü gördüm.Götürdüm geriye gayet normalmiş gibi davrandılar ve sıkıldı.Orada hissettim ne kadar yanlış bi karar verdiğimi.Arabamı alıp 2 3 km uzaktaki evime gidip arabayı temizlemeye karar verdim ve motor bölümünü de açtım.Radyatör suyu konulmadığını da fark ettim.Diğer gözle görünen yerlere de baktım ki sökülen parçalardan geri takmadıkları vidalar farklı kullanılan vidalar ve boşta duran parçalar olduğunu gördüm.Dükkan sahibini aradım ve durumu kendilerine söyledim.Geldiler ve yerinde gördüler.Bu sefer eksik parçaların kendilerinden kaynaklı olmadığını daha önce sökülmüş olabileceğini söylediler.Ben arabanın o parçasının ilk sefer kendileri tarafından söküldüğünü ve daha önce aracın oynanmadığını söyleyince bı sefer bunu kim topladı diye suçu yanında çalıştırdıkları lise öğrencisi çıraklara attılar.Ki daha önce bana arabayı ustabaşıyla kendilerinin bizzat topladıklarını söylemişlerdi ki o da yalanmış bakılırsa.Tekrar arabayı dükkana çekip 2 vida sıktılar.Orada ki elemanıyla konuştuğumda çoluk çocuk toplarsa öyle olur abi niye buraya geldin ki gibi cümleler de duydum.Birazda dövünüp kendimce çıktım oradan.Aradan 2 gün geçti yolda giderken araba birden gaz kesmeye başladı motor uyarısı verdi.Çekici çağırdım ve 4 bin tl verdim artık başka biyere arabamı çektim.Söktükleri bi parçanın vidasını sıkmamışlar ve parça yolda giderken yerinden çıkmış.İllallah ettim bu işyerinden.Daha neler çıkacak bilmiyorum ama inşallah daha bişey çıkmaz.Uzun lafın kısası gitmeyin arkadaşlar kalite 0 işçilik 0 işi bağlayana kadar herşey çok güzel sonrası berbat.İşi yapanlar ehil değil lise öğrencisi çoluk çocuğun elinde arabanız ve sonrası benim...

On our visit here, it was Eid and was very busy. This meant the wait time was a bit longer. We ordered Kiymali pide, steak sandwich, and T-bone steak.

The kiymali pide was excellent! The steak sandwich was Ok, the steak itself was thinly cut, I wished it was a bit thinker. Lastly, the T-bone was Ok as well.

Overall, we enjoyed the atmosphere and the staff who were very apologetic because of the holiday rush.

Would I recommend this place? Yes, because this restaurant is the CLOSEST to American style steaks I. Turkiye.

A warning: their prices are high. I posted a picture of my receipt for two people!!!!!
