The food is great-and the cakes are to die for.
Coffee, shakes and juice are a bit pricy, but everything is super-sized.
It's got a playground and palm tree covered, greenery view outside seating, which is really nice.
Be careful with your order-they can't issue refunds for some weird, management reason-but they will work on a solution for you, like a free coffee to go.
They also always have a special or other going-one of the few places around that really understands professional system catering.
And, of course, it's right on Jinja Rd., so the best location for a road trip stopover.

Read moreNormally I love to stop here when passing through Jinja. This place is lovely with great welcoming staff, a nice playground, and good bathrooms. However, Christmas and any other holiday seasons are the absolute worst. You would think they are used to the load specifically around Christmas, but no. There were no potatoes for chips. There was no plantain. We had to ask for a menu from another customer and hunt down a waitress. I got plain rice and a burger. PLAIN RICE and a burger. The sauce they brought twenty minutes later was cold. On another occasion, I bought chicken pies and they were given to me COLD, even at supermarkets they microwave them, but not here. It was madness and extremely disappointing, only come here in the off seasons.
Update: even in the office seasons service sucks, waited thirty minutes for something we called in advance for only to get it served in bits. I can't tell if they're understaffed or this...
