The Yellow Chilly - Multicuisine Restaurant — Restaurant in Jinja

Ordered pineapple juice. They served me passion fruit juice. When I notify them their mistake they said they are sorry but they cannot take it back as I drunk in the glass... Then I had to explain them that I couldn't notice their mistake if I didn't drink. After insisting with the manager they bring me pineapple juice without saying anything. I was happy even I had to insist so much just for them to fix their mistake about simple juice. But then I saw the bill, they charged me 2 juices even I only ordered one!! I tried again to speak to the manager, after insisting he offered me a free coffee (I don't drink coffee) but still I had to pay for 2 juices even I ordered only one. After insisting again he offer me to pay for the 2 juices (even I ordered only one) and next time I come he will offer me free juice. A waitress told my wife that I have to understand here it's not my country, I have to pay if I started drinking wether or not they are the one making mistake. At the end I paid for 2 juices even I ordered only one!!!

Edit : few hours later my wife and I have stomachache. Avoid this place for both your mental and physical health

This is nonsense : insisting for me to pay drink I didn't order and offering me free juice next time. It would be so simple to not insist to make me pay juice I didn't order and not pretend that I'm the one who don't understand how...

I was on an official tour to Jinja city in Uganda for 10 days and I used to stay in a hotel next to The Yellow Chilly Restaurant. I used to go to Yellow Chilly for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. I enjoyed a lot of Indian recipes here, which were cooked by Indian chefs ( Vamshi & Sunil). Mr. Anurag (Manager) whose hospitality was fantastic, his nature was extremely humble and calm. The best part of the restaurant was the morning Buffet which contained a variety of foods which makes a perfect and balanced diet of a health conscious folks. I will really encourage you to visit this restaurant and enjoy the dishes. I never feel that i visit out of India because whatever i want to eat everything is available at Yellow chilly restaurant ; north Indian, Chinese, south Indian food etc. If i get a chance in future to visit jinja, I prefer to stay and eat at yellow Chilly...
