Sonrisa Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Jinja

Coming from California I was fearful I could not find a taste of home in any of my dining options. Sonrisa proved me wrong. Mary runs an amazing restaurant! They produce authentic Mexican Food and do it with a smile. They are always cheerful and the food is always delicious.

Pro Tip - Ask her to cater your party and request the special enchiladas. She makes the sauce from scratch and slow roasts the tomatoes over charcoal. I couldn't get better Mexican food going to Mexico...Mary's...

Our first day in Jinja, late arrival... no food at the cabin. So Delivery is our friend. We choose Sonrisa. Good choice it seemed!

Very fast response thru Whatsapp, straight forward order taking and clear about money and delivery time! But more important the food was very good! Not super super warm, but hey..20 minutes with a boda... I'd Love to eat at the restaurant when I'm in Jinja....
