I recently had the opportunity to dine at this cafe that left me thoroughly disappointed. The experience was marred by several factors that made it impossible for me to enjoy my meal. Firstly, the taste of the food was shockingly bad. Every dish I ordered seemed to lack flavor and was poorly prepared. It was disheartening to receive such subpar meals.
Furthermore, the limited menu options were a significant letdown. The lack of variety made it challenging to find something appealing, and the few choices available failed to impress. I had hoped for a diverse selection of dishes, but unfortunately, that was not the case.
To compound my disappointment, the serving combinations were truly perplexing. The ingredients were poorly paired, resulting in strange and unappetizing combinations. The lack of thoughtfulness in creating harmonious flavors was evident and further detracted from the dining experience.
Lastly, the restaurant’s exorbitant prices were wholly unjustified given the quality and quantity of the servings. I found the cost to be significantly higher than what one would expect for such mediocre food. It was disheartening to see such a disparity between the prices and the overall dining experience.
All in all, I cannot, in good conscience, recommend this restaurant to anyone. The taste of the food, limited menu, poor serving combinations, and high prices make it a regrettable choice. Save your money and seek out other establishments that offer better quality, variety, and value for your...
Read moreService: Picture this - amidst the bustling lunch crowd at the Louvre Cafe, there's Davinder, not just a waitress, but the conductor of this culinary orchestra. With a grace that would make ballerinas envious, she weaves through tables, her smile as warm as the sun filtering through the museum's grand windows.
Davinder isn't just taking orders; she's crafting experiences. She listens to your preferences like a sommelier might sniff a fine wine, then suggests dishes with the enthusiasm of someone who's just discovered a Van Gogh in their attic. Her knowledge of the menu isn't just from memory; it's like she's tasted every dish, lived every flavor, and now shares her culinary journey with you.
Every interaction feels like a scene from a play where the service isn't just service but a performance art. She remembers your name, your dietary whims, and even that you prefer your ketchup on the side. Her attention to detail is so acute, you'd swear she's got a photographic memory, but for people and their palates.
In her hands, the mundane act of ordering becomes a narrative, a story where you're not just eating, you're living a moment in the Louvre. Her presence alone elevates the dining experience from mere lunch to a memorable episode in your life's gallery of meals.
Overall: With Davinder, your lunch isn't just served; it's presented, curated, and celebrated. She's not just an excellent member of the Louvre Cafe; she's the heart of it, making each visit a...
Read moreI've been a member of Louvre Abu Dhabi and due to my professional profile have been coming back to the museum since the last year quite often. Thus, sometimes I end up having lunch at Museum Café. It wasn't top notch at the beginning either but over this year and a bit more things have worsened further while the company running the place ofc doesn't forget to increase prices every once in a while.
The major problem is that there is no standard for the food they cook, sometimes it's ok sometimes it's bad - only constant is the high and increasing price.
When it's busy, the air conditioning cannot handle the amount of people. Though this is not the problem only at the café but at the whole museum.
Also, as a member you are entitled to 15% discount, but apparently it doesn't include drinks while nothing is said about that on the website of where you sign up for the membership. I had this issue in December. I had an argument with manager and he promised to fix it. Several months on nothing has been done, these details are still not mentioned on the website :) why?
Please take this commenta seriously. These things...
