To the Management and Owners of McGettigan’s Ajman,
I am writing this with extreme disappointment and frustration about the shameful level of service and the unacceptable behavior of your staff towards customers in your Ajman branch. The treatment people are receiving is nothing short of disrespectful and insulting, and it is absolutely damaging your reputation.
Your staff clearly have no sense of customer care, no professionalism, and no respect for the people who come and spend their money in your establishment. The service is consistently slow, careless, and very bad—leaving customers to suffer and feel ignored. This is not just a one-time mistake; it is an ongoing problem that shows complete failure in training, management, and supervision.
How do you allow such behavior to continue in a place carrying your brand name? How can you accept staff who treat paying customers with such arrogance and indifference? Every single customer who walks in deserves respect and decent service, and it is your responsibility to make sure of that. Instead, what we are witnessing is the total opposite.
If this is the standard you are willing to tolerate, then you are directly responsible for driving people away from your business. Bad service spreads fast, and many people are already speaking about how terrible the treatment is at McGettigan’s Ajman. This is not only a disaster for your customers but a disaster for your business.
I demand immediate and serious action to fix this situation. Train your staff properly, monitor their behavior, and hold them accountable for every single failure in customer service. If you continue to ignore this, you will lose the trust and respect of your customers permanently, and no one will bother coming back.

Read moreI use to come every weekend with my husband since they opened but I stopped because of coronavirus than last night 13/10/2022 I decided to come again and brought my college to show her the place but I was really disappointed first I ordered and I decided to smoke a cigarette I needed ashtray than I saw one Filipino staff ( lady ) I was calling her and raising my hand she is looking at me and ignoring me my friend call her also she ignored and she went to play billiards 😳 than our server came he was an Indian I told him look my cigarette on the floor cause she is ignoring us he went and put the ashtray without even apologizing instead they made us feel like we are coming to beg for free food I payed what I ordered and normally when the South African manager was there whenever I ordered wine he will send the waiter to refill it every time but this time was self service till I finished and I was setting in the bar !!! Maybe its about time you advice/inform your McGettigan’s staff in Ajman, that they are not doing any FAVOR by serving its PATRONS.
Went there on a non-busy day/time, where there were handful of patrons and plenty of open seating available. Sat there for quite some time right opposite the bar without any attention from the servers, which was quite strange giving the pub having handful of patrons.
There were no greetings, not even a HELLO (Quite ODD in the SERVICE Industry), the menu was just dumped on the table and the server left back to the bar facing the TV came back after a while. Could have understood if the place was busy, but there were like 3-4 gents on the bar and only 1 big table.
Never experienced such lethargic/droopy service in other McGettigan’s locations which I have frequented (Dusit Al Thani/DWTC/JBR/JLT).
Bet even the horribly reviewed pubs/bars in UAE will have better service and be more courteous/cheerful, whereas, Cave/Zanzibar will be better...
