Majdolin Restaurant — Restaurant in Al Majaz

We had Eid Dinner Buffet here last night. It was 129 plus tax per person. The restaurant was almost empty and no wonder why. They had very limited dishes in Buffet Menu and the food was cold and tasteless. No single dish tasted good. We went in the last hour of buffet, many dishes were already empty and they were not refilling them. When we complained about cold food and empty menu dishes. They heated a couple of items and served us on table in a plate. We are 4 adults and child, and few pieces of mix barbecue in a plate was not the ideal resolution that we expected. The concept of Buffet is eat whatever you want and as much as you want. Although we are not big eaters and with food being tasteless we had no appetite left but I don’t appreciate cutting corners on things in last hour when you are still charging full price. Serving in single plate means you are limiting the customer to a certain option and quantity. To our further disappointment coffee was not included in buffet and had to be paid separately. We had iftar buffet at Al khan restaurant few days back and they had so many more options in menu including Indian dishes and with a live pasta station.the menu at Al Khan truly presented the value for money.

Here at this Majdolin it was an utter waste of money and a ruined Eid Dinner experience. Staff was ok. The only good thing was view of waterfront,Eid festivities and fireworks. That compensated a bit . I would suggest to come here for tea coffee , sit and enjoy the view from seating outside. Don’t waste...

During our stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton Sharjah, we dined multiple times at Mandolin Restaurant and also enjoyed room service on several occasions. Each experience was consistently exceptional, making our stay all the more memorable.

The restaurant itself is a beautiful space with stunning views, and we loved the option of outdoor seating. The food was delicious and thoughtfully prepared every time, whether we were dining in or ordering to our room. The service was impeccable—Nadia’s friendly manner (our kids loved her!) and Tareq and Zaki’s warm personalities really set the tone for the evening, making us feel welcomed and valued from the start. Our wonderful waitress Sabina also made sure we were taken care of every step of the way. Their attention to detail and dedication to our comfort were evident, and they went above and beyond to accommodate our son’s food allergies, even allowing him to have his own food, which we truly appreciated.

Mandolin offers an outstanding dining experience with amazing food, a relaxing ambiance, and staff that genuinely care about their guests. Thank you to Nadia, Zaki, Tareq, and Sabina for making each visit special and for adding a personal touch that made us feel at home. We can’t recommend it highly enough and look forward to our next stay!

I had a pleasure of dining at the exceptional restaurant Majdolin. It has a breathtaking view at their panoramic terrace creating a magical ambiance that added to the overall memorable experience.

I was blown away by the amazing food and the friendly staff. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and welcoming energy. The staff made sure I was comfortable and satisfied.

The food was delicious, with fresh ingredients and unique flavors that really stood out. I especially enjoyed the diverse range of desserts, which was expertly prepared and beautifully presented.
