Emirates Sea Restaurant - Ajman — Restaurant in Al Zahraa

Visited this outlet a few days back.

We were seated in a booth which provided privacy with no unwelcome interruptions and with pleasant music playing softly in the background. We ordered Szechwan prawn, Garlic naan, Butter chicken, Lobster Manchurian(small) and the Saffron Phirni.

Prawns were really good and there was plenty of Szechwan sauce contrary to our expectation of a little sauce poured over them as depicted in the menu.

Garlic naan was a little tougher than expected of a fresh naan. One naan included 2 pieces.

The Lobster Manchurian was good too; but being a seafood lover, I was unable to appreciate the taste of pure lobster meat due to the overpowering flavour of the sauce. For those who don't like the pure fishy taste, it's a good choice :)

The Butter Chicken was perfect! Perfect gravy, not too sweet and with smaller pieces of chicken rather than the more commonly seen huge pieces. Paired perfectly with the garlic naan.

And to end the meal, we had the delectable Saffron Phirni. Smooth and sweet, garnished with saffron and slivers of pistachio and almond, it was the perfect end to a sumptuous meal.

My review would be incomplete if I do not mention the courtesy and politeness of all the staff there. Their service was prompt and they gave helpful suggestions while ordering too.

The food and the choice of the menu is good. The staffs are friendly and quite responsive. However, the noice levels are very high. Lots of loud conversations even though we had a separate cabin for privacy which is very thoughtful. Something the management has to do about this so that the diners can enjoy not just the food, but the ambience as well. The rates on the menu is higher than normal, hence not an everyday dinning place for a middle income family. However, what really set me as well as our small group of diners aback is the price of the bottled water. My goodness...at Dhs 10 a bottle???? This is outrageous !!! Is this a way to discourage the diners to refrain from drinking water??? Water is a source of life...it doesnt have gender, nationality, age or wealth attached to it. Plants, animals, humans and every living creation cannot do with water. And to price this high for drinking bottled water is not something that the owners or management should profit on, it gives us a view how much commercially they have attached for their menu pricing when they have priced for an outsourced product like a packaged drinking water which we are all aware is procured for less than Aed 1.00 per bottle. May i request the owners and the management to price the water say about Aed 3.00 per bottle which should make diners like me,...

I am a regular customer in all branches despit that i had a very bad experience yesterday i ordered a large Mix Grilled from the restaurant in Ajman for take away and it was very bad the mixed salad was watery including hummus and tast old, the Tikka tasted bad, hard, old and chewy meat .The chicken that it is not supposed to go wrong was smelly and not well marinated . It was a very bad experience rendering both me and my wife sick .
