New Safestway Cafe & Supermarket | Jumeirah Village Triangle ( JVT ) — Restaurant in Dubai

RAB. I've been going back to the place for years, only to watch it decline in quality. I loved coming here for the atmosphere, service – every back I come back to visit (every 6 or so months) some still remember me. The past year upon returning, the service has declined, the food has declined in quality, and it's just not my favourite spot anymore.

Their lentil soup is consistently delicious. The hummus is hit or miss now, as well as the bread (the last time I got it it was cold and not fluffy and soft like it used to be). The garlic paste was awful this time around, which used to be my favourite side with the bread. The shisha was not right, and the service was inconsistent.

Just out of tradition I may return, but it will no longer be the first...

As a small supermarket milestone has pretty much everything you should expect and are both local and international and offer semi to good quality.

However some of the in-store baked products are very questionable. We have had to return items in the past as they tasted of detergent.

The cafe itself is cheap and cheerful and the quality of the food reflects this. Some dishes leave a lot to be desired, this bothers me as they are not in line with Dubai's usual high standards and have been operating like this since the store opened.

We now make an extended trip to an alternate super market where quality and customer satisfaction is considered and...

Word of caution about home delivery grocery from a lesson learnt!

When ordering food and drink items to be delivered from the supermarket in JVT it is imperative to check the expiration dates on all the items before accepting delivery. You may likely find that a number of these items are so close to their expiration that if they are not consumed immediately they would be past it's expiration!

When this issue was brought up to duty manager it was quickly dismissed out of hand, since technical it was just within the best before date before leaving shop premises!

Certainly not the Safest...way to be dealing food and...
