Grand Bazaar Turkish Restaurant — Restaurant in Dubai

My husband & I visited Grand Bazaar Turkish Restaurant on Friday for lunch (around 3PM). We decided to give the restaurant a try since we generally love Turkish cuisine.

We were seated immediately and served complimentary bread with butter, walnuts and cottage cheese. We ordered one (1) starter, one (1) salad and two (2) mains: Patlican Salatasi, Gavurdagi, Iskender Kebab (Beef), and Adana Kebab (Spicy).

All the dishes we ordered were top quality, extremely flavourful and delicious. The portions were generally large and whilst we purposefully ordered a lot -- we couldn't stop eating simply because of how delicious our meals were! My husband was ready to fall asleep on the table and we were served complimentary Turkish tea. Oh! What a delightful experience.

I loved the decor, ambiance, the servers (especially Joy! -- she was super attentive and made us smile with her courteous demeanor and behavior. A truly fitting name for her.)

We were surprised to be greeted by the owner and had a bit of a chat with him. We were surprised as we had seen him hands on with everything and the details of the service. That's how we know the owner cares about the restaurant and his customers.
