Sorry to say but the worst burgers we have ever had, we were 5 adults visited during the Eid weekend & we ordered the crispy chicken burgers….the chicken was like a mushy patty that had been dipped in batter & fried in my experience McDonald’s is better (seriously). The fries were oily not great either. In my opinion overpriced for the size of burger they serve, there are way better places to have a good burger for that price range. Was totally regretting going there. But have to say the staff were friendly & nice. I don’t know if they couldn’t cope with the crowd that day because they told us they didn’t have any more chicken & then they said it’s available. The guy next to our table sent the sweet potato fries back as they were soggy & not crispy. I will never go to salt again. Sorry to say there are way better burger joints and it’s not about just opening branches & expanding keep up the standard of your food and if the kitchen can’t cope with the number of orders just stop taking more it’s a really small menu how difficult is it to do that? It’s not about making money end...

I’m appalled to share my family's recent dining experience at SALT's Khawaneej branch. As we excitedly ventured out for a celebratory Eid dinner, we were met with nothing short of a catastrophe.
Firstly, our eagerly-awaited sliders arrived cold, as if they'd been lying around for hours before being served to us. To add insult to injury, the orders were mixed up, leaving us all confused and disheartened.
The situation in the kitchen seemed no better. We could clearly hear the chef screaming, and it was evident that a full-blown scuffle was taking place behind those doors. The chaos in the kitchen surely spilled over to our dining experience.
As if things couldn't get worse, we spotted a lizard crawling on the wall, which further ruined our appetite and created an atmosphere of unease.
In conclusion, our Eid dinner at SALT, Khawaneej was a humiliating disaster that I wouldn't wish upon anyone. I cannot, in good conscience, recommend this establishment to anyone until there is a complete overhaul of the...
Read moreThis one star is not about the food quality as we call all agree Salt is known for amazing food quality. The rating is strictly for the lack of awareness some staff have regarding food allergies.
We clearly informed the cashier that we have nut allergy and asked if the peach ice cream was safe. She said yes, so we ordered two. When we reached the person preparing the ice cream, we asked again (our allergy is that serious). Thankfully, he actually went inside to check the ingredient list something the cashier should have done before assuring us. He came back and told us it was not safe.
By then, one ice cream was already served with a spoon inside. I told him we would return the untouched one and give the other away. He agreed to refund one, but when we went back to the cashier, she was rushing around and not taking ownership of the mistake. At that point, we just left.
My feedback: train your staff properly on food allergies. One wrong answer could have led to a medical emergency. We’re extremely grateful we asked the second...
